I wish they would just get rid of the rankings altogether, or at least make viewing them optional.  I get depressed every time I drop.

Woo-hoo and it's taken me almost a year to get that high. FT absolutely ranks last for me... I've gotten 103 files accepted there and have earned LESS than my 24 files accepted at IS. That is embarrassing 

I do well at all the others (by my definition) but I'm rock bottom at FT, I would quit but I don't want to give up what I do have towards that first payout.

Is it the ranking system?? Does it just take time for your account to age before your images come up in a search?? That has nothing to do with acceptance issues but does it effect your view/downloads??

Nobody knows how FT search is working now. One thing is sure: it dones not put older images first.

Thanks Peter...so basically I'm in the same situation as many others! 

OMG my relevant rank sunk to about 1500  ,which proves how badly I have been effected by the current best match changes as normally I am around 300  I hope they will switch it  back pretty soon.

I had better weeks with my 7 days rank got as low as ~390 this month.
I have notice that with my overall rank I have passed 1000 photographers in the last two months.

Funny that my overall ranking is getting worse, but I'm doing better when I see the last week.  An EL would definitely improve my position, but I haven't had one in months.
