25 people already, it's getting crowded :D

I also find the stats interesting. Especially because there are some really different portfolios in there (old, new, large, small,...). I never kept track of my portfolio like this, but I already see that my biggest problem is portfolio size. Will try to increase it during winter when I'll have more time.

I don't feel so lonely now at the end of the line.  :)

Vonkara: go to http://www.istock-apps.com/compare/, log in, click on MSG at the bottom of the groups list.

Adelaide

Ooh, this sounds like fun!
Please add me. Username:  leetorrens

Added. ATM some people have been in the group for a week, some for only 1 minute, so it's a bit harder to compare stats. I'll try to reset stats at the beginning of the every new month so that this is corrected. If I forget please remind me :D

Quote from: Vonkara on October 03, 2008, 19:52But where we can see the comparison exactly?
The link is on top of the page. You have to use IS login (because group is visible only to group members). But if you as paranoid as UncleGene you can create new IS account and go check some of the publicly available groups (mostly race to silver/gold/diamond/ best illustrators,...).

The IS login is being used through iStock's API which allows third-party developers to come up with helpful tools such as DeepMeta and a bunch of others. It does not allow the third party to collect or observe your log-in information. You can read more about it here: http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=46006&page=1 and see the full list of available apps in that same forum.

And I am truly sorry for the confusion that my unfortunate selection of username has caused. Take off your crazy-cap and think about whether Bitter himself would have the time or inclination to post the trivial things that I do.  ;D

I'll be non-exclusive around the 14th. If you would please add me in. azurelaroux

Glad to see you finally decided to take that leap, Nancy. You've been a miserable exclusive for quite a while. Further proof that the crown is not one-size-fits-all.

Good luck!! :)

Istock Compare is working again. You can check on the msg group that I created. Will wait till the end of the month and then reset it.

Fred

Please add me to the group - lorenffile on IS (also in my profile here.)

Added the two of you, 29 people in the group now.

CofkoCof

I reseted the stats today, so we can compare our stats in January. Will try to reset it on the 1st day of the month (remind me if I forget to do it :D).

Has the URL for this changed?  All I get is an ad with a list of financial services.

This is the link I was using:

http://www.istock-apps.com/compare/groupInfo.php?gID=620

Was the link hijacked?

Found the below on the iStock forums -- should have looked there first!

...A recent development or two will mean a couple of changes in iStock-Apps.com. Going forward, the Compare, Suggestinator, StatBox, and other assorted istock-apps will be migrated to a new home at apps.myersonphoto.com. I'll try to minimize the downtime during migration, but if you see some wonky behavior in the coming few days, I hope you'll forgive me.

The other change - unrelated to the migration, but occurring at the same time - will be that now I'll have a little more time and bandwidth to devote to creating, maintaining, upgrading and supporting the apps. So all those requests that came in over the past 12 months or so for istock-apps enhancements may actually see the light of day.

I edited the OP so that the new link is listed now. Also added fljac to the group.

Looks like this month ljupco is the winner (again) :D I'll reset the stats on sunday probably.

So we will be hearing about this for the next 10 years. Please use an "I" not an "i " when you are talking about your self. Also a space after a comma full stop is the norm.

Shank you post here like you are a experienced stock photographer. I have looked at your PF and I have seen some pleasing images but ..... I am gold on istock with half your PF. I would advise you to serve your apprenticeship before being so verbose.

Great programming. I'm definitely not in since I don' upload to iStock any more, but if somebody makes a similar app for DT I'm in.

My non-exclusive PF on iStk is only 2/3 of that of Shank but I have considerably more DLs. I consider myself a failure on iStk, and I stopped uploading there. Well, Shank probably likes to chatter  :P
