Guess we are in the summer slump already, or maybe its just me. Lower than even half of last month where a few big sales pushed it almost to 3 digits.

BTW have been a fan of todayis20 to analyse my file data. But they've been having issues with showing the actual photo. What have you all been using?

Average month for me - nothing special. But a little bit better than April 2023 and 2022.

Deep Meta 4's preview mode which has some very nice displays. You need to download the text file from Getty and upload that to Deep Meta's site.

Why would it be simple, when it can be ultra complicated.

Have 2 separate logins (1 for IS, 1 for deep meta)
Wait for a month
Download text file  from IS
Upload text file to Deep Meta
Navigate convoluted interface

Everyone else shows you thumb with royalty as soon as it happens in your contributor account.

Rigid, Archaic, Unnecessary  - just like "managed keywords" and other things on IS platform.  This is one of reasons why contributors get 15% - someone has to pay all people that work maintaining all this.

----------
Edit:   If someone doesn't want to use Deep Meta site with separate login, etc.  you can simply enter image ID in search field on your Portfolio URL page to see it

Ouch, horrible month.
Hard to imagine that around 2-3 years ago iStock used to be my best earnin agency. Now it's getting closer to one of the minor agencies for me.

Seems to be no way to do this from the site without downloading the software. Will try later from the laptop

Same for me...
April 2022 - 182% of 2024
April 2023 - 147% of 2024

Almost 50% down in 2 years - maybe I am not uploading enough (about 50 images per week and 20 video per week)

41 dollars, no uploads, so I can't complain.

It is interesting to see how many really files still keep selling in reasonable amounts though.

You don't need to download anything - Deep Meta 4 is all online. The blog posts about it might help

I didn't have any sales to China. Of my sales that were $0.02 or under, hardly any of them were to Asian countries and about a third of them were to the US.

Good April - around the same for April 23 not complaining.

Past year quality of my work has suffered sometimes as I had a house move going on for around 1 year.

May 2024 so far - very slow.

Well, well!  I've been a DeepMeta user since it first started, and I never knew about this new online version!

Looks very interesting, I will explore it further... and the Creativ zone... thanks for that!

Hard to imagine that around 2-3 years ago iStock used to be my best earnin agency. Now it's getting closer to one of the minor agencies for me.

That's what I've been trying to say for a while now.

Istock is an agency that doesn't give any certainty, maybe next month it will be better, but you never have a stable income that increases over time like with Adobe Stock.

I say it again, continuing to upload to this agency only serves to ruin the future of microstock.

Unfortunately they know how to keep the hamster in the wheel running,so that they continue to make money, that's all that matters to Istock.

then when you no longer serve them, they remove or lower your content from the search engine to make room for other new contributors,so they can squeeze new contributors too.

when I started with Istock, after just 4 months with less than 1000 contents,I was already earning an average of 150 USD per month,do you know why?

because they positioned some of my content at the top of the search so I was happy that I kept uploading and so they could squeeze me.

leave them alone, they use you, squeeze you and throw you away.

Adobe is the only agency that guarantees an increase in earnings over time as long as your portfolio continues to grow,no other non-exclusive agency guarantees this.

I think there has been some kind of bonus for new contributors at istock in search rank long time ago.
April was below average for me at istock.
