Can anyone help me? I want to contact support and ask them a question but I can't seem to find how. I always end up in their faq section.
Right at the bottom of the FAQ page is their link to 'contact us'.
At this moment, however, ticking on that link leads to an error message:

"Oops! An unexpected error has occurred.
The error may be transient but has been logged. If you continue to encounter problems, you can contact customer support.
Click here to contact customer support."

Hahaha, obviously that link just comes round to the error message again, as the error page is the 'contact cusotmer support' page.
Try later or tomorrow!

I'd really like for someone to explain this to me.

9 Canva Sales netting me .60 each - all on Aug 22

all corresponding with ...

9 Canva refunds costing me -.86 each  - all on Aug 14

It seems last month Canva negotiated a lower rate that applied retroactively too all sales from all previous months. Hence the large refunds and repurchase at the lower rate. My guess anyway.

It's just become laughable.  Made $200.  Exactly 1/2 of last Aug and 30% less than last month.  With a shi t load of refunds. I had 137 refunds.

456 Canva entries.  About half are refunds.  Lunacy.

Thanks for the explanation but that borders on criminal.

Thanks for your help, but I still can't get anywhere. I must be doing something wrong.  :( I go to that page and choose the "Royalty Statements and Download Counts" category but then from there I can just see some canned answers and I don't see a way to actually send them a message.

They may or may not read emails at this email address. I have no idea. [email protected].

Or on this link you tried, https://accountmanagement.gettyimages.com/Help/SupportTicket]https://accountmanagement.gettyimages.com/Help/SupportTicket try submitting your question under Technical/Site Issues.

Or here https://www.gettyimages.com/customer-support and click on email. Though this link is meant for customers and not contributors.

I just went there to see and they're making it hard to actually send them a ticket. For some of the topics, however, you can (if you wade through the pages of canned advice) get to an entry that says "I've tried all of that and I still can't xxxx". Click "Next" there and you get a support ticket to fill in and send.

I was able to see that from the "Minimum payment amounts & carried forward balances" starting point:

How to download & view a statement in PDF format -> How to see if my payment was carried forward in a PDF royalty statement  ->  Cannot download my royalty statement -> I've tried the above but am still experiencing issues

It's truly shameful that they make it so difficult, but they clearly don't want you to submit a ticket :)

They say they want a full screen capture of your error, but I'd send them anything just so the ticket is complete. You might be able to find another route to a ticket, but I found lots of dead ends where there was no support ticket...

Wow !!!
July was really poor. So i didn't expect August will be much better.
So i was real surprised by this good August numbers at istock.
There are alway lots of sales at istock. But sometimes ( or most times)  RPD is very low. This time downloads were better than usual for August and RDP was better than usual for istock.
Didn't expect a good month at istock, but it was.

Ouch! We had 426 refunds and 479 sales from Canva, net loss there of $58.42 for the month. Average RPD on iStock from them is down from $0.39 to $0.22 with the new pricing.

Canva turned us down as direct contributors - not the right content for their customers...

Looking at the CSV file, the refunds (for me anyway) date back as far as June 2018. This is not acceptable behaviour and admin saying, "Refunds are part of the business" is completely unacceptable!!!

Unbelievable. The worst month since April 2004 (yes, 15.5 years ago). More dodgy shenanigans, opaque pricing and, now, refunds as well.
Can anyone tell me what the proceedure is for telling Getty to shove their business (in the nicest possible way, of course)
No need. I just quit. It's actually quite easy.

Many refunds too, all from Canva Australia. Some are comming from 2018 sales !
I sent a ticket.
Btw, sending tickets for a relevent reason is impossible, I had to use an aproximate category.

I haven't had a refund this month
But I did have a biggish one a while back and it was something that had been sold like 6 months before.
If you buy something in a shop the maximum you get is 30 days normally. How can they do that?
And if people are saying there are refunds over a year ago?
Bonkers.
I'm not uploading to iStock but just leaving the images I have.
It was a particularly good month but this refund malarkey makes me doubt if the money will stay mine!

Not the best, not the worst month here. Second best mont this year, but that doesn't mean, it was good month, it's just, that all other months have been disastreous.

EDIT: 2 refunds here. -0,25$, -0,05$.

Can someone explain this connection with Canva.    Do we get credited with a sale every time our photo sells on Canva.  I didn't think someone could buy your photo and then just resell as part of their collection.

So I managed to send them a ticket now. I'm curious what they will say (if anything). I stopped uploading to iStock since they started refusing StockSubmitter submissions but I still have quite a few images there.

from info earlier on this thread, on their forum thead and other forums, it seems that iS had a deal with Canva, which was renegociated for a much lower price, and in retrospect!

BTW, this happens with Alamy too: if a buyer reaches a threshold, they can get a reduction applied retrospectively.

Around 60 refunds and the worst August since 2007 and a 33% drop from last year. iStock/Getty are just despicable. If I did not depend from stock income solely I would drop them in a heartbeat.
