I am shocked and dismayed by the implication that you don't believe what they say. I mean what has Getty ever done to warrant that mistrust?

My image sales were surprisingly good this May after being dead for some time. The audio side suffered though. sales slumped.

It says 'a note will be make of your balance'.
Meaning they take note of it, because that's what you'll get paid.

I quit istock 2 years ago, and I have never regretted.

Your right,  I misread.  Still it is safe to say many of us who are still with Istock are dropped to nearly 1/10 of what we used to get there.

So, according to: "Step 2 - On the 5th day of the following month, the amount noted in Step 1 is removed from your balance", today my numbers should be 0, but, I still have over 100 $ in my account

You need to get used to iS not doing things when they say they will.
You must be pretty new to iS not to know this, so congrats for reaching $100. I hate to think how far I'd need to go back in my 'recent uploads' until I got to $100 counting backwards only.

They say they will post a notice when this happens, but sometimes they don't, and when they do it's often late.

If you need the money for bills or food, you'd be better to apply to McDonalds/whatever.
