He's 'sticking the knife' into crowns now for asking reasonable questions. Understandable I suppose as most of the 'indies' don't bother with the forums anymore, or their banned from posting!

As Lobo will think about removing it, here's the screen grab.

Sorry Lobo, you need to act a little quicker - try eating a few less pies.

Plenty of exclusives are banned: I've been banned for 14 months now.

I don't think it's even worth mentioning that prat's name

It's probably been mentioned before but he does have a fitting avatar. Perhaps he could adopt a new one where if you look at from one angle it's a closed hand as viewed from the front but as you change angles the middle finger flips up at you.

Could be that things are so bad in Calgary that they don't want to talk about it?

what an arse.  You know even if he believes it will just turn into a rant a good moderator would be more polite and say something like "we don't have any plans to do that at this time, but things could always change.  I'll pass on your request to the higher-ups and perhaps a generic statement about upcoming plans for istock can be made.  For now I'm going to lock this thread to avoid a mass amount of speculation, both positive and negative."

really... something like that provides a response with a non-answer answer, yes, but at least it doesnt say "you're an idiot and just trying to stir up trouble because that's what everyone does so I'm locking this now"

really, iStock, hire someone with class and get rid of that assclown known as lobo.

We've already got all these threads by Cogent Marketing about istock, do we need any more? "iStock Contact Sheet to finish", "Exclusivity application process is currently unavailable....", "iStock fails to recover ground", "iStuck Google search New", "iStock looking for customer feedback on their website", "Is it not just a tad ironic", "Edstock - Captions and titles", "Lobo trying to block bad news...... again.....", "Is Lobo getting out of control.......?", "iStockphoto upset contributors again", "Non-exclusive contributors to iSP worth more ($) to Getty?" and now "Lobo's unbelievable arrogance continues...."
This is the 3rd thread on Lobo that you've created, if you haven't gotten your point across yet then I don't think it's going to happen.

I know it gets tiresome, but I can totally relate. After the canister debacle and RC announcement, I was totally fed up and I lambasted them any time I could. In fact I STILL do! I think that it feels as though I was doing something about the whole mess. After all, these negative threads get indexed in the search engines, don't they? It feels like a small, but maybe effective way, that the "average Joes and Joettes" can get back at these greedy corporate ba$tards. Maybe tarnish their reputation? (not that they aren't doing a great job of it themselves).

I also think that anyone who is still making some or even good money from istock would certainly want the negative talk to discontinue. Don't know what to say about that...

Yeah, you're right - it's all me.

Please accept my sincere apologies as I kneel before your greater wisdom and greater authority (albeit anonymous). I genuinely did not intend to offend or affront your beliefs that Lobo is indeed a good thing for iStockphoto customers and the general better well-being of the company. Please forgive me.

PS - Mind the door doesn't slam you in the ass as you leave this forum on your way back to iStock forum.

Have a great day.

PPS. You seem to have a panache for looking into other poster's background that post here don't you? Pity we can't see you for who you really are - something your trying to hide or is there simply nothing there?

I think ongoing discussions and threads about all the agencies are perfectly normal. And this certainly was a strange way by an admin to respond to an exclusive contributor with perfectly normal and understandable questions. Does it really matter which "citizen journalist" starts a thread here to report what is going on?

istock is built around social media networking and msg is the biggest business community for all things stock.

If istock wants more positive publicity - why not dazzle us with elegant communication and impressive business ideas? Or just stellar growth?

I remember when many threads here where started admiring istock and top level contributors where preparing to go exclusive.

 It wasnt that long ago...

It's not that I'm defending Lobo or istock's management it's just that these posts aren't adding anything, ok Lobo locked a thread again.

It is not for someone like you (an iSP exclusive - which I already knew by the way) to deem what is or what is not an appropriate subject for posting on this site.

That's the job of the admins - we have polite ones here BTW.

And when it comes to 'adding things' to these forums most of the posts I have seen from you generally seem to either scold or diminish comments by posters, even beyond iSP topics which as an exclusive, you have no knowledge of.

I think it might be better if you temper your counsel for matters you actually do know about, better still, keep it for the iSP forums.

ETA. I notice you amended your original comments about NOT supporting Lobo. Others can see it here - afraid he might give you a ticking off?

I am actually OK with the threads. If I don't want to, I don't read them. But I don't go to the istock site hardly ever anymore, so I like that I get an update on what's happening over there.

Well I really hate to lock a thread talking about locked threads.. but :S

I guess I'll lock this thread for a couple reasons.

Name calling (insulting) is not appreciated on this forum, whether it be towards an admin on another site or someone on this site  (both of which has already happened in this thread), and the general nasty tone already developing between a few members in this thread.
