iStock has sort by options that include : Contributor, size and title. what? I get alot of surveys from them and always tell them to delete those. Really who would use those and for what?

Contributor: if you want more photos with an unique style, made by the same contributor
Size: if you need image with a minimum size
Title: I don't see a lot of utility to this

Contributor: is alphabetical -- really useless
Size: no choice. largest first.. uhhh?
Title: again alphabetical. Seriously??

Looks good, I like it much better this way.

Yeah, they've finally done what everyone has had for years, lol.

People with pics on iStock, try this:
Go into your portfolio, click on an image whose subject isn't particularly unusual and look what's suddenly appeared under your image. Don't buyers know how to use the back button to get back to their search?

However, they seem to have fixed the bug whereby you couldn't (at least, I couldn't) search within your own port.
Also, they've fixed the bug whereby you couldn't modify a search via the left hand search box.

Interesting question as to Most Downloaded is or isn't the same as Most Popular.

Of course, fix one bug, break something else, in this case, Display settings doesn't stick if you have it in a search, click on a file, and go back to the search (the settings disappear and you have to click on it again).

Same old, same old.

I use sort by contributor within Lightboxes when it's often useful (to me at least) to group all images by one particular contributor together.

the new sort by doesn't apply within a portfolio - then you're back to the dropdown. Alarming lack of consistency.

Oh, they seem to have reverted to the old dropdown in the main search too now.

No; it's a bug. I did a search and it defaulted to age (where the results were about 70% wrong/spam) and it had the dropdown sort menu at the top. Then I changed to best match, and as it resorted it went on to the three rectangle menu.
