A four year old return?  No idea.

And you reluctantly paid them, right? ;D

Seriously, I wonder how far they are willing to take something like that if you just say nicely to GFYourselves.
How likely is it that you would recommend being a Getty Images Contributor to a friend or colleague?
Please explain why should I recommend you to my friends?

Considering there is no valid contract between me and IS, I'm not even sure why they took the trouble to do it.

Must be their fantastical systems of automation efficiently hard at work. Write back and remind them its not all about the money and include some link suggestions on where to purchase some inexpensive lens caps. I am sure they will be able to closely relate.

How about paying the industry standard royalty rates of 30 - 40%?!!  When they flucked us out of the rates we'd earned is when I stopped bothering with them.

when rate was 25 30 they not sell a lot...now my experience is they are selling a lot...sure i d like 25 but better 15% of a lot than 35 of nothing....they are growing royalty very month despite a small portfolio compared to fotolia.

yesterday i received the pdf of a sale of my rm representatives documentary agency, one of the most respected in the world....64 dollar sale i received 7 dollar cause it was sold by a second representatives. 11% royalty and on the paper their royalty free is 50% rate for me.

Over the last few months, sales have been very few and far between for me on iStock. By comparison, SS is doing much better and I'm ready for my second payout there. Just seems like a waste of time submitting content to iStock. And the 2c and 9c payments just adds insult to injury. What a joke.

Getty/iStock is still sending out their survey emails. I received a third one just now, oddly titled "Last chance!"

As if I'm missing out on something fantastic experience by not replying. Besides, I already did the survey, so stop spamming me!

Me too. Wow these guys suck at tech. I wonder if any of the responses made it through?

I honestly felt this survey should of been titled 'how can we make it easier for you to upload content'

They totally asked the wrong questions if they really cared for contributor thoughts

Because they don't honestly care about contributors, our uploads or our thoughts.

My guess is that they got into a bit of a panic with the portfolio deletions and slowdown in uploads since the latest changes but the workers at the coalface have zero flexibility to make any real changes. Getty head office probably dictate the comission levels. All istock staff can do is pointlessly tinker with uploads and the like.

Of all people in the world, you have the best reason to ignore them.  :)
