This should be an interesting month- I noticed some big changes already in the Middle Tier and wouldn't be surprised at all if Dreamstime sinks out of the Top Tier...

I think the poll is more rigged then ever. The changes are so erratic it doesnt make sense. Yay is back where they belong and now GL is middle tier.

Someone or some people are gaming the poll. I think Leaf should look at it more closely if the votes make sense.

I agree with you comments on Yay.  Remember the poll just started thus incomes will bounce around before they stabilize - I would give it about three weeks before I would consider looking at the results.  I highly recommend removing the extremes (just like they do with the Olympic Judge scores) to better balance the poll as well.

I was going to suggest that the poll needs higher numbers.  :o

And the good news is, DP is where it should be instead of pumped up by the shill votes. Which is probably where it really stands.

I think your other idea of letting it settle for a week is a good one also. This is like early returns, and it takes 50 people to make a showing.

No I don't usually participate, I don't want to drag the numbers down.  :)

Leaf could make it only allowed for people who have 50 forum posts and eliminate the fake people who just come to boost the agency they work for. Then it would be more realistic?

one reason for DT dropping may be that they are generating fewer sales -- they used to be consistently my 2nd or 3rd best; for the last 6 mos, they've struggle to reach 4th, and this month were 6th;  meanwhile 123 tripled its 6 mo average

To be honest, most people's description of their earnings sound like they are describing some alien world, so I don't feel very surprised when something strange happens. Especially early in the month when not everyone has voted.

DT seems really low. I can't imagine I'm that far above the average with my tiny port of just 170 images.
It would be really nice to see Self-hosted and Stocksy actually on the board.
Day 1 of the month is bound to be a bit skewed but the numbers do seem odd - I can see someplace like Alamy varying wildly since I have months there myself with $$$ and others with $0, but for the micros to vary so much is certainly unexpected.

I made two small mistakes in filling out the march poll  :-[

Didn't add PP earnings to iStock and didn't put earnings for Alamy.  Probably this doesn't skew up the results much at all - and certainly wouldn't account for something like YAY's showing.

BTW if there's a way to make these small corrections someone plz let me know.

I don't think this is going to be a problem. The problem is that someone is trolling the poll (yatMicro on top, Stockfresh and GL at middle tier...) thus making the whole results useless.

Are outliers excluded from the data set?
Otherwise, a poll (especially an anonymous one) means nothing statistically

It does.  $2500/month is way too low to represent anyone doing this full time.  A full timer in a developed country needs to be making at least $3,000/month so if there are full timers here then they are probably under represented in the poll.  I've quit the poll until this is changed but I'd also like to see more of the raw data.

exactly! i am capped at $2500 per month when i could easily be consistent in the $4k-$5k range in the poll as an exclusive with IS. but it matters not.
