There are plenty of publishers providing advances out there

Finding one that will do your book within a year is the challenge. And plenty of the small press publishers do not provide advances, and some of the big ones ask too much from the author. So I went self publish. I spent 6 months researching and contacting publishers, agents, and industry experts.

Maybe Book 2 will get picked up. My editor said it was better than hunger games, but then that's my editor.
