1 - buy a cheap glass to shoot your isolations (you can place the white carton below or drop it)
2 - dont crop your subjects
3 - dont light your subjects from everywhere, try to leave 1/2 shadow(s) only, the coffee picture has like 4 different lights shadows/directions, not very professional
4 - learn first to "light" darker objects
5 - try to surround your object with white/black to avoid unwanted reflections on your subject (like on the coffee)

Did you just do a tut? shame on you! ;)

Ok, il take that advice for the isolation shots, buy some cheap reflectors, tent etc although i think i need to work on the lighting. In the meantime i have been playing with long exposures and have been travelling.

would a shot like this make it into stock? Its not really stock-relevant but iv seen some images like it on istock.

Forget the tent they are trash and just bounce light around and limit how you can shoot something and what size it has to be that's for eBay and flicker.

EDIT:

Do you not know how to resize your images??

You are just throwing your full size image onto the web for someone to come along and steal.

I didnt think i needed to considering I put a big DO NOT COPY on it. Should I remove it??? I just save it as a Jpeg from PS and place it in Dropbox.

The copyright message is not so important, people will steal them any way and not care about the copyright.
Real customers, will buy the licence.
However it can be good to have your name typed into your image in case of a debate. But it is not likely.
