Anyone know what the deal will be for Extended Licences?

>> 50 Percent Commissions on All Sales. Simple, straightforward and very competitive in the stock industry.

but I dont see an option for EL purchase

In the email I got it said that they don't yet accept vector files.  I uploaded a test illustration just a jpg and not in adobe 1998 colorspace just to see if it goes through or not.  I will post back once it gets reviewed.

I have had a long set of discussions with support. Here is the summary:

1. sRGB is OK - they accept that.
2. You can disable your 123RF portfolio, which only pays out at the 123 rate, by emailing support, telling them your Pond5 and 123 IDs and they will do so. That will start you from a clean plate.
3. You have to set the prices of all your images - the going rate seems to be $10 from what I see. You will get 50% of that. Not sure about Enhanced/extended licenses. You can upload via FTP and then change the prices of the entire batch using one of the commands at the bottom of the upload page. You can also add Model releases the same way.
4. No categories - not even editorial. Their reviewers decide if something is editorial as they review it.
5. I think review times are very long at present because of the new uploads.

Thanks! I like to watch a post wander around for three pages, gathering moss, and then give a succinct answer!

I've been selling video clips on Pond5 for quite some time, and I've been very pleased with the site and the personnel.  I've been waiting for a long time for them to accept photos, and I've submitted my first batch with great anticipation.  If all goes well, I'll probably cease uploading on all sites except SS and Pond5.  I'll give serious consideration to being exclusive to Pond5 because the benefits of setting my own price and getting 50% are rather obvious, and unmatched anywhere else that I'm aware of.  If Pond5 is the catalyst for turning around our race to the bottom, then this is cause for celebration.  If not, I'll just run the other direction with P5, and the others can keep doing what they're doing, but they'll do it without me.   :)

I like pond5 but having to manually input the creation date and camera model is time consuming and lame.  Especially since the info is already in the photo exif.  Anyone try submitting without inputting that info?

^^^Yes, you can leave those bits blank.

the $10 is the lowest price it will accept - -- looks like it's treatingimages as footage

^^^I did use $6 to start with but then decided to change it to $10.  $10 is still low priced because that's for full size, blog size sells for $1.  Going any lower doesn't seem worth it.

it seems there is no way to batch process all the files with IPTC data?

I've put 10$ too, but the blog size goes from 2 to 4 $, depending of the picture maximum size, seems too high for the smallest size.
Somebody ask in the Pond5 forum to let the seller set the prices for all formats by default.

I spent a few hours submitting photos one by one, then found out a way to batch submit eventually (I swear it wasn't there yesterday!):

1. select all photos

2. from the drop-down list "Actions:" at the bottom choose "set price"

3. from the drop-down list "Actions:" (again) choose "send to curator"

Nice to know that I just wasted a few hours...  :D
anyway when I look at the site from my android tablet I still can't get past the first 4 elements in the list, probably a browser issue. Everything works fine from Firefox on my regular desktop pc.

+1. When I try to set price to 8, blog size is 4.40. It's nice, but expensive.
Is there any way how to change the prices to usual 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10?

I don't think reviews will be fast.  Video reviews can take weeks.  They'll have a huge amount of stills to wade through now.  If the reviews are like video, it will take a great effort to get a rejection, they seem to accept everything.

when setting the price, mine comes up with the default as being "1". So are we setting the MINIMUM price, or the Maximum price?

The default is $1 but it's too low: you'll get an error message if you try to submit. It must be at least $2.

We are setting the price for the maximum picture size; price for smaller sizes will be automatically scaled.

So the default price for the maximum picture size is $1?  :o  What are they thinking by setting it at that?

It's not a real default price, the "1" means you don't have set the price!!
