If you just need to cut videos, try these programs too:
- LosslessCut
- Bandicut

Adobe Stock / Re: Video upload not working ?
« on: June 21, 2025, 12:40 »
I have encountered something similar. The ftp server on Adobe works poorly, there are glitches. It's the weekend now, so it won't work even more. I haven't uploaded anything today.
Write them a support letter.

Upload online directly on the site.

How do you upload?

6
So I exported a video from Sony Movie Studio and uploaded it to SS. I was also planning to upload the same file to AS and P5 but I got an "unsupported file" error on SS. And this has me puzzled. It's an mp4 video and has a frame rate of 25fps. According to VLC, it has the h264 codec and it's also an MPEG-4 video. And apparently, both SS and AS accept MPEG-4 videos. The codec information in VLC also mentions AVC (part 10) and avc1. I thought that surely, a video with those specs would be acceptable but I don't know much about AVC. Would anyone have any ideas on why I'm get an "unsupported file" error for this video file on SS?
See the video characteristics in this program: MediaInfo.
Copy them here.
Do you have problems with only one file? Did all similar files go through to SS?
Trim your file a little in your program, make a new rendering and upload your file to SS under a different name. Report the result.

Maybe someone will see the original question, instead of the way the thread went off topic and no one is answering what you needed help with. Sorry I don't know Sony software or why this would happen.

Good Luck!
I'll answer his question sometime.
In the meantime, let Zero Talent answer, he's the one who supports trolling on the forum.

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe has blocked my account

I sympathize. You probably haven't read this forum... Try writing to the new Adobe representative here, but he is some kind of bot... I sympathize with your grief. Maybe you will be unblocked.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it's a lot of work, and the silence from Adobe is the most difficult part.

You mentioned a "new Adobe representative here" that is "some kind of bot." Could you please clarify who you mean or provide a link to their profile? At this point, I'm willing to try any contact that might get a response. Thank you for the suggestion.

@RomanStock, have you tried through their discord channel?

Thank you for the suggestion! I did recently join the Discord channel and posted there as well. The advice from the community and moderators there was that account blockage issues are not discussed publicly due to server rules. Have you or anyone you know had success getting a response through that channel recently? I'm trying to explore every possible avenue.

I may have ideas, I have a lot of such ideas. But I have a question for you, are you one of those who put pluses under offensive posts addressed to me from a Russian troll nicknamed zeljkok?

Nobody has to answer you with this irrelevant pathetic question.

Yes, all this looks extremely cowardly and mean on the part of those people. But you should understand that I am also not obliged to answer questions that I may know the answers to. Given the huge number of enemies, I am not sure that my altruism on the forum is appropriate.

6. Now SS has introduced a subscription model, this can give a good income.

A subscription model doesn't produce a good income, particularly for video. It produces a very crappy, almost non existant income.
Perhaps we need to wait for SS to get subscribers. I don't know how long to wait, but SS offers good conditions for subscription.

I've built a large portfolio: over 50,000 footage clips and 50,000 AI images.
:o :o :o

I sympathize. You probably haven't read this forum, it was written here that Adobe often bans authors for content created by AI. Perhaps you needed to create a second account for this, but I don't remember if it is done on Adobe.

50,000 videos is a lot of work.

If Adobe doesn't respond, it means it is ignoring you. Try writing to the new Adobe representative here, but he is some kind of bot.
I sympathize with your grief. Maybe you will be unblocked. Read people's stories.

Who sells videos on Dreamstime? Is there an unlimited subscription? How is the income?

What is Your "No" important themes?
There are no unimportant themes. It all depends on the markets you sell it on. The problem is that not all stockers have access to all markets.
Therefore, we can only talk about themes in the context of each specific stock agency.

I am already using an old photoshop elements version to process camera images for istock and others.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Welcome Back!

Uncertainty around the globe is currently historically high.
There is a third world war going on on planet Earth, it is not only shots and explosions, but also an economic war. For example, EU countries are now sending more money to the production of weapons, including for Ukraine. The more weapons are produced, the less money is spent on projects that need our content. The same applies to trade tariffs.
But on the other hand, if you create content on the topic of weapons and war, your sales will grow.  8)

Seems like it more designed to make it harder for the 'little guy' to compete in the "ai" world, and fearful of potentially 'infringing' on someone's rights.
The big companies really don't care - because they are part of the same club.
Midjourney is a tool, just like Photoshop. You can also create content in it and sell this content on Adobe, for example. Another issue is that Adobe makes demands on such content and writes what you shouldn't do so that you don't violate someone's copyright.
You are against technical progress!  ;D ;D ;D

And how should such characters as Darth Vader from Star Wars, Frozen's Elsa, Minions from Despicable Me, Star Wars' Yoda and Marvel's Spiderman, the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man look according to artificial intelligence?
Of course, these characters will look like their original selves, if you demand that AI draw them.
The essence of the dispute is not clear. Can Disney and Universal forbid everyone from drawing their characters?

I understand that such drawings cannot be taken for commercial use. But what does Midjourney have to do with it then? Midjourney is just a tool, like any graphic editor, in which an artist can draw any plagiarism with his own hands.

This is an amateur lens. For $180 you could find a better used lens.
Here are the downsides of your lens:
1. Optical drawbacks
Barrel and wave-like distortion requires manual correction; lens profile may not be built into some cameras or editors.

Strong vignetting at f/2.8 (~3 EV) only significantly reduced at f/5.6 and smaller apertures.

Softness at edges and corners even at f/4f/5.6; needs to be stopped down to f/8f/11 for consistent sharpness across the frame.

Coma in low light or night scenes light sources (like stars) may appear stretched or distorted.

Flare and contrast loss when shooting against strong light coating is not very effective, which can reduce image clarity.

2. Mechanical and design drawbacks
Plastic body, with metal mount only durability is not on par with premium lenses.

No weather sealing not safe for shooting in rain or dusty conditions.

Very basic design only a focus ring (by-wire), no AF/MF switch or custom controls.

3. Autofocus and compatibility
Slow autofocus on older Sony cameras (e.g. a7III or earlier) can hunt and occasionally miss focus.

Audible focusing motor STM motor noise can be picked up during video recording in quiet environments.

Historically, it worked out to about 50 cents per download for videos. Now they've finalised their exciting updates to how they calculate payouts... it seems more like 10 to 15 cents.
As I understand it, the final amounts are known only at the time of payment.

hi guys, lockdown is over?Has Leaf paid the rent?  :D

sales are going bad, I'm probably having a bug with Adobe, something is happening that has never happened before,6 whole days without even a single sale.

I haven't sold anything since Saturday.
My sales on Adobe are as usual, at an average level.
The problems with the forum were caused by the fact that the Siteground hosting service was performing maintenance and an internal error occurred on the MicrostockGroup side ("table marked as crashed").
But maybe everything was not so.  ;D

But anyways. I personally am interested in hearing things you 'personally' witness, and insights you may have into that.
This is a very broad question, I have partially covered it in the transferred topics. I will not be able to answer in this topic, the moderator will delete this topic after my answer.
But I'll answer somehow.

When searching in Google for the words microstockgroup, Google personally gives me a link to a Russian site with a similar name. I understand that Russians steal even the names of sites, so it is not as easy to access the forum via Google as before.

Yes, the world has changed and the third world war continues. But you can't write about it here, because Russian trolls and German parasites write complaints to the admin, after which any topics on the forum are deleted (or rather moved to the archive section).
So I won't be able to answer your questions.
