I just told them to remove my portfolio before the changes take effect.

Level two should be reached in another week.
I was at level 5 until December 31st not that it made any difference to the
piss poor royalties.
My new years resolution was to cease submitting to these ass hats I've even started to submit to Depositphotos once more because at least their royalties are better than scumstock

By the way, if we anticipate a takeover by another company, that might be an argument to turn off sales, stop uploading but keep the account itself active.
The sales process might take 2-3 years, but if the buyer company are good people, you just have to flick a switch and your port with 20 000 files is live again.
If the new owners are useless, change nothing and wait for the next buyer

Have disabled all files for now, if nothing changes in the next month may as well close the account. Was hoping enough people would disable to prompt some action from SS, but can understand not everyone can afford to, especially while other income sources for creators have dried up with the virus. Almost like they knew people would be desperate at the moment, quite evil really.
Don't forget there are a lot of people like me who are waiting for their final payout before disabling. I just got notified that my earnings were calculated, so as soon as the money turns up in PayPal, I'm disabling everything. The email said I'd receive the money by June 15th, so I think we can expect another wave of portfolios going down around mid-month.

This past week, Adobe in the US was closed for the Fourth of July holiday. We had team members working and answering contributor questions but there may have been some delays in response time. We strive for 2 hours max to get back to you when you write via the contact us page during regular business hours.

That hasn't been my experience. I sent a help message yesterday and haven't received any acknowledgement that they received it. I thought maybe they had the wrong email address, so I sent another message asking them to change my email for me (there does not appear to be a way to do it myself) and I still haven't heard back. I don't know if they received my help request or not. I have heard nothing at all from Adobe.

Did you try emailing Mat Hayward directly (or PM'ing him here) to see if he can sort it out for you? He can also give the IT folks feedback on things that cause problems for contributors - so you could get the procedure improved as well as your account opened again.
Saying you should contact Adobe without giving you any contact information is about as carefully thought out as "Dear #firstname #lastname," (the email about negative adjustments to royalties). They need to pay attention to the details in how they interact with contributors...
