yes my files have been online for nearly a week-they used to review them in a day or so. Probably no reviewers?

Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock rejecting clips and photos like crazy for no good reason recently.« on: November 23, 2019, 19:59 »
Have you ever tried submitting a few at a time to have some rejected for out of focus, wrong keywording description, same content , etc? The resubmit minutes after and they get accepted? Is that A1 or a different reviewer? Frustrating to say the least.

He has got so many similars why are they not deleted by SS? If I upload similars only 1 is accepted. Not impressed at all by so many paper bags etc.

Alamy.com / Re: New to Alamy? Read this! :-)« on: March 30, 2016, 20:47 »
I joined Alamy 3 years ago and have sold nothing. I started uploading again and sent in 4 batches totalling 92 all of which passed QC the same day. However since uploading a batch of 80 on 25th March I have received no QC approval. Would Easter have slowed down the approval process or have I been sin binned as 5 more uploads are all awaiting QC since. I am new to Alamy and am very confused .If I am sin binned for my large upload failing should I not be stopped from further uploading as it seems that all these will also fail? I wonder is it worth the time and effort compared to SS where everything is so much easier? Thanks for your insights.

Photo Critique / Re: Need critique for rejection« on: November 29, 2015, 19:35 »
Looking at all the images I feel that they may be brighter as SS does not seem to like dull pics, from my experience. Also if you use HDR I was aware it was a no no as I used it a lot prior to becoming a SS contributor. Now I shoot in RAW and process very minimally and nature , flowers and animals as well as vectors are mostly well accepted. Just keep on trying it's the only way to improve.

General Stock Discussion / Poor lighting out of focus for 45 images at SS« on: November 01, 2015, 23:24 »
On a Sunday I seem to have all submissions rejected for the same two reasons-
POOR LIGHTING OUT OF FOCUS Yet during the week the similar images are ACCEPTED. This is NOT GOOD ENOUGH, Something must be done by SS to standardise the review process. It is so unfair and time wasting and frustrating. I ask just how can so many pics be rejected for the same reasons? On a Sunday? WHY?? 12

Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock Reviewers Beating Me Up.... Anyone Else?« on: October 08, 2015, 03:44 »
This is getting ridiculous-I had the whole batch of 60 assorted images rejected for the same reason-Poor Lighting and Composition. Yet during the week similar batches were accepted. Just what is going on ?? I submit about 2 or 3 of each batch daily so they are virtually all the same quality. It is about time SS gave better reasons than the same old ones every time. For eg-how can a cloud in a blue sky be poorly composed? I guarantee if I resubmit these 60 most will get accepted. But why do we have to muck around like this? It is getting seriously stupid. Not to mention the time converting from RAW, zooming to 100%, cropping, key wording, etc. If I submit to other sites they are accepted no questions. SS must be missing out on 1000's of images daily. And for what purpose? It just raises our ire and causes extra work on our part. I would not mind if the same rejection reasons were legitimate but I fail to see how 60 different images can be rejected for the same 2 reasons. Has any one else had this lately??

Photo Critique / Re: Please critque my pictures - thank you« on: April 23, 2015, 17:37 »
It took me two years to learn the basic principles of good photography and that was because every day I took images and analysed them .After 4 attempts I was accepted on SS . Keep learning and look at other peoples work on SS to get an idea of technical standards. You are persistent so don't let anyone drag you down .I am sure you will make it in the end but it will be a long road. None of the pics critiqued were up to SS standard-for the reasons already stated by others on this forum. I shoot lots of flowers and they are my second best sellers.I also do many illustrations in abstract as I have developed my own style which are readily accepted. You must find a niche and work on it. Good luck.

I agree with the comments made by Rinderart. Just got a whole batch of abstract designs rejected for NOISE when previous lots almost same were accepted. Very very frustrating and time wasting. Never had a noise problem before. Why can't someone write a letter and we can all sign it saying we are not happy with the reviewers?

I had 18 rejected abstract designs because 5 had the word ECRU to describe the color of the lace so I am very puzzled as to the reason=Spelling / Grammar -- Image contains spelling or grammatical errors.
I have sent them the details etc and will be interesting to see why ECRU is wrong spelling , grammar. Very very frustrated !!!! 21

General Stock Discussion / Review Time up at SS« on: August 29, 2014, 19:09 »
I have been intrigued by the fast review time at SS. My 3 uploads yesterday were all done in one day.Has every one stopped uploading or what??But still very tardy on acceptance rates and same old excuses carte blanche-poor lighting, incorrect white balance and fuzzy ? images??
