On a Sunday I seem to have all submissions rejected for the same two reasons- POOR LIGHTING OUT OF FOCUS Yet during the week the similar images are ACCEPTED. This is NOT GOOD ENOUGH, Something must be done by SS to standardise the review process. It is so unfair and time wasting and frustrating. I ask just how can so many pics be rejected for the same reasons? On a Sunday? WHY??

The last 3 batches submitted to SS have not had an email response as to the image status. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a change in this policy? I have asked them as well.

I have been intrigued by the fast review time at SS. My 3 uploads yesterday were all done in one day.Has every one stopped uploading or what??But still very tardy on acceptance rates and same old excuses carte blanche-poor lighting, incorrect white balance and fuzzy ? images??

I received this email today with a list of many of my images chosen in this scheme. Dreamstime has agreed to undertake a small scale beta test program that permits the use of images in online advertising. Any one know anything about it?

I would be enlightened to know if anyone may help me understand why one day some images will be accepted yet in a week or so similar ones rejected-this goes on ad infinitum- yet accepted ones sell well -why are the others no good-?? Time consuming to have to try to work out why whole batches have the same reason-poor lighting, out of focus, poor composition. Yet one spends many hours ensuring that these are as correct as can be done with modern aids like light room, raw, photoshop, etc. Does a human review or is it a computer program algorithm? I am reticent to ask SS in case I get banned for impertinence as they are my major income provider at present. I appreciate any help. Thankyou.

Back to the bad old days -only 7 out of 127 accepted today and all out of focus!! Last time it was poor lighting and now its focus. What will it be next time? Please let us have some consistent reviewing-must admit the last 2 weeks were really good. But so up and down.It is so frustrating not to mention time consuming.

The last 2 weeks in SS I have had ALL images rejected for same reasons-POOR lighting, INCORRECT white balance, POOR composition- and I am utterly at a loss after spending HOURS in RAW Bridge and PS ! What is the problem? I am thinking of not submitting any more. PS-similar images accepted in recent past.Is it a BOT or WHAT???

Am perplexed as to why botanical names etc eg: verticordia plumosa , referring to plumed red feather flower wild flower, are classified as not in English in the Title to SS uploads and rejected forthwith when have been using them for over a year.I understood that such names added to the image but last lot of images rejected because the title is not in English. Puzzled. Any ideas. I have resubmitted some with an explanation. First time this has happened. Has any one else had this problem lately?

I am very confused as to what is correct white balance. I look at the histogram and it is in a curve as recommended but the image gets rejected for incorrect white balance.Any ideas please?

I am grateful for nay suggestions as to how I may overcome the following critique in SS. Thanks.
Focus--Image is not in focus or the focal point is not appropriate for the composition. Overuse--Image has excessive noise reduction and/or excessive sharpening effects applied. Poor Lighting--Image has exposure issues and/or incorrect white balance. Composition--Image is poorly composed and/or poorly cropped.

I have had no sales at all in Alamy and looking at what buyers searched for I can understand why as the engine picks out any word in the list which is ludicrous eg.Penguin - and a pic of a beach with NO penguin as there was a mention of penguin island in it. Veterinarian and 2 pics of a brown horse came up. Very disappointed and does not come anywhere near Shutterstock which I have been on since Feb 2013 and sell pics every day despite only a small port of 2,500.I can't be bothered uploading to Alamy any more as it is so disappointing.

I am perplexed as to why a buyer searching for TEA would be shown a pic of my rose, or SKY a pic of an abstract design-it seems they take ANY old word out of the keywords which to me doesn't make sense and explains why I have not sold anything on their site.

I am amazed at the way Alamy has put the search terms , eg-under gum tree a picture of a lake emerges! Under betting a pic of a horse in a field. No wonder no sales for me when there is such discrepancy.

I have a lot of pics on alamy and many views but no sales. Is it slow to get moving compared to SS where I sell almost daily?

Abstract designs at shutterstock some times accepted othertimes rejected I find very frustrating despite contacting them and requesting another inspector, obviously someone there hates them as newest reason is rough edges!! Yet previous accepted had worse so called rough edges!! Has any one else found this inconsistency with SS?

I have been accepted on Alamy and used my real name as a pseudonym then realised it was not right and changed it .Will the new pics I uploaded be seen under my new pseudonym? If not how would I change it?Thanks.

I had a lot of my abstract designs accepted by SS at first but the last two times ALL have been rejected yet the quality is better than those accepted before and they sell very well for me.Should I wait until another reviewer comes ? Is this normal for my honeymoon to be over as have been in SS only 2 months? I am at a loss to unders- tand why.

How difficult is it to be accepted on Alamy as 4 of my best images failed the QC test yet were accepted by SS? Is it a site worth persevering with or not? Thanks for any advice.

Since being accepted on 10th January this year I have had 277 pics accepted on SS -a 5 week period. It took me nearly 12 months to reach that number on DT! I am over the moon as SS likes my designs which DT hates. Working very hard to reach 1000.

The last three weeks or so I have had nearly all my submissions refused at DT yet strange to say SS accepted many of them . DT must be losing money ? The reasons are spurious - focus, composition, etc etc whem in past the same type of pics were accepted. I am glad I got on to SS as I am thinking of foregoing my exclusivity on DT. What does everyone think as I am a newbie.Thanks.

I have submitted twice a pic of a shrub flowering and both times was refused on grounds that other images online were far superior -I checked and saw only 2 other ones and definitely not superior to mine! Pics rejected by DT I have had accepted at SS .What is going on here? Are they even checking the pics ? Surely if SS accepts them and DT doesn't what is wrong here??? They are losing money here for sure. Also after many emails to them I have never had one reply yet. I am getting very fed up .Any one else had these problems?
