What is Your "No" important themes?
There are no unimportant themes. It all depends on the markets you sell it on. The problem is that not all stockers have access to all markets. Therefore, we can only talk about themes in the context of each specific stock agency.

you just need to not reply if you intend to spread hate.
I didn't put such smiles and didn't write anything like that. You probably have a lot of money if you haven't controlled your stock accounts for several years.

Uncertainty around the globe is currently historically high.
There is a third world war going on on planet Earth, it is not only shots and explosions, but also an economic war. For example, EU countries are now sending more money to the production of weapons, including for Ukraine. The more weapons are produced, the less money is spent on projects that need our content. The same applies to trade tariffs. But on the other hand, if you create content on the topic of weapons and war, your sales will grow.

Seems like it more designed to make it harder for the 'little guy' to compete in the "ai" world, and fearful of potentially 'infringing' on someone's rights. The big companies really don't care - because they are part of the same club.
Midjourney is a tool, just like Photoshop. You can also create content in it and sell this content on Adobe, for example. Another issue is that Adobe makes demands on such content and writes what you shouldn't do so that you don't violate someone's copyright. You are against technical progress!

And how should such characters as Darth Vader from Star Wars, Frozen's Elsa, Minions from Despicable Me, Star Wars' Yoda and Marvel's Spiderman, the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man look according to artificial intelligence? Of course, these characters will look like their original selves, if you demand that AI draw them. The essence of the dispute is not clear. Can Disney and Universal forbid everyone from drawing their characters?
I understand that such drawings cannot be taken for commercial use. But what does Midjourney have to do with it then? Midjourney is just a tool, like any graphic editor, in which an artist can draw any plagiarism with his own hands.

This is an amateur lens. For $180 you could find a better used lens. Here are the downsides of your lens: 1. Optical drawbacks Barrel and wave-like distortion — requires manual correction; lens profile may not be built into some cameras or editors.
Strong vignetting at f/2.8 (~3 EV) — only significantly reduced at f/5.6 and smaller apertures.
Softness at edges and corners — even at f/4–f/5.6; needs to be stopped down to f/8–f/11 for consistent sharpness across the frame.
Coma in low light or night scenes — light sources (like stars) may appear stretched or distorted.
Flare and contrast loss when shooting against strong light — coating is not very effective, which can reduce image clarity.
2. Mechanical and design drawbacks Plastic body, with metal mount only — durability is not on par with premium lenses.
No weather sealing — not safe for shooting in rain or dusty conditions.
Very basic design — only a focus ring (by-wire), no AF/MF switch or custom controls.
3. Autofocus and compatibility Slow autofocus on older Sony cameras (e.g. a7III or earlier) — can hunt and occasionally miss focus.
Audible focusing motor — STM motor noise can be picked up during video recording in quiet environments.

Historically, it worked out to about 50 cents per download for videos. Now they've finalised their exciting updates to how they calculate payouts... it seems more like 10 to 15 cents.
As I understand it, the final amounts are known only at the time of payment.

hi guys, lockdown is over?Has Leaf paid the rent?
sales are going bad, I'm probably having a bug with Adobe, something is happening that has never happened before,6 whole days without even a single sale.
I haven't sold anything since Saturday.
My sales on Adobe are as usual, at an average level. The problems with the forum were caused by the fact that the Siteground hosting service was performing maintenance and an internal error occurred on the MicrostockGroup side ("table marked as crashed"). But maybe everything was not so.

But anyways. I personally am interested in hearing things you 'personally' witness, and insights you may have into that.
This is a very broad question, I have partially covered it in the transferred topics. I will not be able to answer in this topic, the moderator will delete this topic after my answer. But I'll answer somehow.

When searching in Google for the words microstockgroup, Google personally gives me a link to a Russian site with a similar name. I understand that Russians steal even the names of sites, so it is not as easy to access the forum via Google as before.

Yes, the world has changed and the third world war continues. But you can't write about it here, because Russian trolls and German parasites write complaints to the admin, after which any topics on the forum are deleted (or rather moved to the archive section). So I won't be able to answer your questions. Glory to Ukraine!

Anyway, my question is it possible to push those files through review somehow as this kind of clips sell on other sites from time to time.
Make some minor changes to the video, change the file name and upload it again to SS.

On the clips that are accepted only for sale in the Data Catalog it is written so. It cannot be that your clips are accepted for commercial sales, but they are in the Data Catalog and you do not see them. Previously there was a problem on the site, the video appeared in the catalog and on the site only after several weeks. Then SS fixed this problem. In any case, you need to constantly contact SS support, and not conduct a dialogue with all sorts of volunteers who are just authors and cannot solve anything.

How much do you get from 1 video download and from 1 image download ? Thousands of downloads that you report seem very positive.
50 cents per video.

LOL - from anyone else this would be a reasonable request (and of course others are free to decline), but your response is despicable hypocrisy - you constantly demand stats while refusing t even show your portofolio
This is trolling! Demanding statistics means demanding a table, exact data and a screenshot. I ask questions to people who write their income amount themselves, and it is not always clear what they write. That is why I clarify. But I did not force these people to create topics and indicate any amounts. Also, that stocker wrote that he has a successful YouTube channel and for some reason dragged me into it. That is why I also asked a clarifying question. All these people want to voluntarily share some information, it is their right. They want their messages to be read and questions to be asked and comments to be written. This is called democracy!

Finally a better month following three consecutive poor months with $1300 on the microstocks and bit over $500 on YouTube for $1800 USD total for May 2025.
Are you uploading stock video to YouTube?
Lately I've been shooting for the primary purpose of YouTube and then taking some clips from this and uploading them to my stock ports. So kind of the other way around really. Most of the clips are editorial so can only go on Shutterstock and Pond5 and to my other ports on iStock and Adobe if suitable.
You need to put a watermark on all the videos you upload to YouTube? After all, this way anyone can download your videos and upload them to stocks.

The Internet is not the place to disclose your personal data. A lot is known about me, I shoot videos and a few photos. This information is enough for questions and answers. I did not suggest that you publish the address of your YouTube channel here (although usually the owners of these channels like to do this). You were asked a simple question, to indicate approximate figures. Especially since you yourself raised this question.

He had a crack at my thread about monetizing a drone YouTube channel - which btw is actually my best performing platform this month.
How many subscribers do you have and how many views does one video have?

Stocker2014 criticizes everything. He's previously criticized the use of using drones for microstock which alone has earned me 1000s of dollars.
I don't remember that. You dreamed it.

I'm only aware of your fervent enthusiasm to give your contents to Adobe's free offer in the hope you might make a couple of bucks.
Any money doesn't lie around on the street. That's why I take all the money that stock agencies give me. This topic started with the author of the topic writing about her income from selling photos. I asked clarifying questions.
