Exactly. Finding out they had sold a 'low res' version of one of my best selling videos (which is normally priced at $65 for HD resolution) for $15 is unacceptable.

Either an opt out or let us set the price or minimum price of these low res options.

I reported it as a bug more than 3 years ago. Have followed up a few times since. Still hasn't been fixed, so I gave up any hope of it being fixed a long time ago. Along with a couple of other bugs that have been more than 3 years without a fix.

What will it cost once it is out of the BETA phase?

What do you gain by deleting them? Why not save the effort and leave your clips up there for perhaps the occasional sale?

I'm not sure what you mean by a 5 year hook. The contributors agreement is for 5 years (and then on a yearly basis after that), but doesn't stipulate that you are tied in for all that time. It says that you can terminate the agreement at any time with 120 days written notice.

As for deleting or deactivating files, they currently don't have an interface to do that yourself, but you can contact support and they will delete files at your request.

Are there many buyers wanting lower resolutions? It is very rare that I get sales of clips at lower resolutions on sites that offer them. The vast majority of sales are always at 1080p. So for me, I would say that it isn't worth creating your own downsized clips.

That article is from 2013. Dissolve very quickly realised that the $5 mark was not going to work and made the cheapest level $50. All my HD clips there are $80 and 4k clips are $300 (their pricing). So HD clips are basically the same price and royalty as SS.

I've had sales the last 6 months (basically since the month after I started uploading there). No report yet this month. But two times this year the sales report hasn't come until the 20th/21st, so I wouldn't worry yet.

I have found it very accurate when there is a clear subject matter, and has helped flesh out more relevant keywords for me that  hadn't thought of.

They have mouseover clips. It shows the thumbnail while it is loading the clip and then it plays a preview clip.

I find it really easy and quicker to create a csv. I do my clips on Pond5 first, and then from there you can download a CSV of all your clips data, and then I just copy and paste the relevant columns into new CSVs for uploading to both Dissolve and Revostock. Much quicker than inputting the info into individual files one by one.
