Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe announce images removals
« on: February 27, 2025, 14:28 »
52 of my photos and videos are marked for deletion on March 4, 2025.
Where do you see this?

You you can check under Uploaded files -> Not accepted (section). They are not ordered as they should be...u must click on each of your rejected files and u'll see the reason "similar video(s) already submitted" and start counting :))

It is easy for me because I didn't have many rejections for this reason and I know all my files that are online...same for images :)

AND, in some cases both of the duplicates were deleted as "already submitted"

how annoying.

52 of my photos and videos are marked for deletion on March 4, 2025. Clips and photos (6 - 7 years old) from the time when I was uploading a whole series. But, yes you are right now... I noticed that they are not only duplicates but the whole batch :)) This action has nothing to do with those generated with AI, I don't have anything like that in my portfolio.

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe Stock Contributor Bonus 2025
« on: January 15, 2025, 14:50 »
I'm really disappointed - I no longer qualify for anything free from Adobe Stock.

I had fewer downloads in 2024 than 2023, so I was aware I'd probably slip back to the single app plan, which wasn't a big deal.

However, I never imagined there'd be such a big leap in the number of approved assets required to qualify - the last two years 20+ was enough to qualify as an active contributor.

I've never been a high volume contributor but only had 117 approved assets in 2024 which isn't enough.

I had 5739 downloads - that's where Adobe Stock makes 70% of what they llicense my content for, but that doesn't count for anything?

Right now I'm angry and thinking of closing my account, but I'll go away and try and calm down to think about what's in my best interests.

The flood of new content Adobe Stock has been accepting suggests they aren't short of new material. But some newbie  who had 350 downloads the whole year gets the free software and I don't? And when you announce the program after the year is over, there's no chance to do anything to add some uploads?

It's just utterly disrespectful of contributors who make sales, IMO.

Same as me, 120 clips approved for 2024...I am uploading only 3d animations (difficult to render, it takes a lot of time to make them)...1000 + downloads and NOT ELIGIBLE. Thank you Adobe for all the effort we put in :((

Usually I don't write much on the forum but now I have to write a little about our work and I mean... "Us 3d artists".

Recently more and more of the websites ask me to attach a property release for each of my work to show them the animation construction. Including timelines, toolboxes, a brief description of the creation process, and the original source of all CGI models I used.

Istock asked me in writing, in the property release to specify that my video it is not AI generated.

All being said I'm even getting threats from Shutterstock "This asset has been rejected. AI Generated Content: AI generated content is prohibited. Repeated submission of such content will result in account suspension and/or termination."

It is already more and more difficult for me to keep proving, apologizing and starting from the beginning...all the time. I wonder if there are other people in my situation?!

Quick question (if anyone can help me).... It seems to me or Shutterstock removed the option to select clip thumbnail in catalog manager??

9
There are many "trival" things contributors have requested for a long time, like "let us select an earning overview for more than 1 year timeframes" or "stop the page from jumping back to the top after you move a keyword when sorting them" or "let us search our own port for keywords from the dashboard" - What good is the option to search for IDs? As if we all knew image IDs and would not have to do the extra step and search for keywords in the serach bar of our own portfolios, copy the image ID and then enter it in the serach bar in our dashboards....but it's never happening.
Adobe's contributor interface has not changed one bit ever since I became a contributor. Not a single requested improvement was ever implemented in years, no matter how trival the request was.  :-\
You are right  >:( Matt also promised us the possibility of selling editorial video, do you know anything about this? or...it was just a joke?

10
Adobe Stock, with the most video sales in the world in 2023, it doesn't have a simple button "Select video thumbnail"
I am angry, after asking for this trivial button countless times. It is so hard to implement it !?

11
pangamedia don't waste u're time, there is nothing left to analyze... everything is at such a low level that a personal analysis would take a few minutes, we don't need a tool. Sorry :(

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe Stock Free Collection: Video Nominations
« on: October 14, 2022, 02:58 »
For all the whiners on the forum, nominate what suits you and that's it, you have this opportunity. Jessus...

13
The popularity score was implemented a year ago,if i'm not mistaken...does not record the usage or popularity of an item before implementation.

They look impressive, but only from a distance! Strange hair and wonky eyes. While it's heading in the right direction, and I have no doubt they'll be indistinguishable from a real human in ten years or so, they're not quite there yet. And you'd have to add fake shadows when comping them in a scene which is notoriously difficult to do well. Interesting stuff though.

Ugly faces, Interpol's most wanted  :o

Hi All,

If you have vectors and/or illustrations online in your Adobe Stock portfolio, check the contributor portal between now (Monday, Oct 25) and November 2. Selected assets may be available for you to nominate to be accepted into the Adobe Stock Free collection. If your nominated asset is accepted after the nomination window closes on November 2 you will be paid an upfront amount of $5 per asset. It's a short window for nominations so act fast!

Let me know if you have any questions,

Mat Hayward

Hi Mat, I would like to know if in the near future you are thinking of nominating clips for the free collection?... and if so what will be the upfront amount per asset?

16
Do you mind if I ask you to show us a link to that clip? thank u
and why would he want to do that?

Why not !? Is there any secret and i dont know...I would like to see it for many reasons: subject,quality...etc

Do you mind if I ask you to show us a link to that clip? thank u

videohive.net u can set u r own prices, i am selling more animations then shutterstock,adobestock or pond5

Do you keep your prices relatively similar to Shutterstock and Adobe's pricing? Or do you sell them for a lot lower? It seems like most stock footage on Videohive is being sold for a lot less.

Dang you were right about videohive. I've been on there less than a week and already made 6 sales with only around 70 videos. Way better than any stock agency, at least for 3d renders.

I am happy for u  :D ...(as an ex) finished one 2 days ago and today bang 83 $, nice.

Never been to Iceland but i wish to...just love that country, so much emptiness and silence. Nice shots, bravo.

Newbie Discussion / Re: Selling 3D Animations
« on: April 23, 2020, 03:52 »
I'm working in Cinema 4D. Rendering time with Octane render is a bit faster than directly in C4D, but it takes around 10 minutes for one frame in FullHD. 4K takes a lot more time. I have Intel i7-7700, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1070.

I've been using C4D for donkeys years. I moved to it after my 3D Max training in 2001. I've always been a moderate modeller/animator,nothing professional.
I've never used Octane or Redshift ever. Been thinking about it for years. IS Octane the one you can rent monthly? What's it like? Worth the money?

Cider Apple, Octane worth all the money, simply... THE BEST rendering engine and easy to use, easy to create materials...etc Redshift also a good one but slower in my opinion.I am using both of them.
