Fotolia and stockxpert are by far the fastest but I only feel that istock give you a genuine reason for rejection. They are the only site where you get the feeling that they actually properly review the file and not just just it a quick over and say no lol. Its a shame sometimes reviews can take a week but thats the popularity of stock photography now

I think its just starting too. Sales are slowly increasing and the best match makes small changes all the time. It will probably kick in properly in Feb. These things take time

well compared to others its ok but the site is so slow it takes ages to load when you want to change things like ive been doing tonight so patients is definately an important thing with weebly but I think for free weebly is good

Newbie Discussion / Re: Finally launched website, would love your opinion!!« on: January 26, 2009, 14:16 »
thanks for both your advice. unfortunately because its a free made website I cant change the verdana on the title as the font has to be the same throughout the site same with the size. Im going to attempt to change the home page as i agree it would be nice to have something else there. My logo is absolutely awful i think so will probably use an image of mine but will spend a while having a look and deciding

Its all about being called Anthony these days
![]() I just think that each site is different and something I noticed is that what sells more on fotolia are vectors/illustrations and not really photos. I tend to upload to all sites and if an image is rejected from all but fotolia then I will click the exclusive button for it but wouldnt ever upload to fotolia to be exclusive. I understand why ppl do go exclusive with a site due to less hassle but every site offers something different and allows you to upload more and potentially earn more too 148
Adobe Stock / Re: Am I stupid ?« on: January 26, 2009, 08:17 »
Not sure if you read the forums on fotolia a while ago but they changed the numbers for getting to each canister so you have a while to go before reaching bronze now. I personally would never go exclusive with fotolia. I actually have more images on fotolia than i do on istock yet I have 5x more sales at istock. Sales come very slow on there. But then I hear that the legendary yuri thinks its his best site of all so some ppl must like it more than others

Off Topic / Nikon 50mm f1.8 or f1.4 which to go for?« on: January 26, 2009, 03:05 »
Here in the Uk it costs 80 (roughly) for the f1.8 yet it costs an extra 100 on top of that for the f1.4
Do you think its worth spending the extra 100 to get the f1.4 or do you think the f1.8 is worth getting to save the money? |
