Desperate, eh?
Clearly, this shows that we are more and more stronger. But, they only try little movements, alone. They still do not listen! When they start to listen to us and will make right movements together with us, I will opt-in.

Nice, now I wait official email about this new opt-out feature. I assume that contributors get email. After that, maybe I restore my images back online.

I think this was the first time when contributors were shown the power of co-operation. And it's worked! Of course everyone make own business, but we have a common interest to be driven. I have sent emails or fb messages for five contributor. I have searched images, little google (google image search) and part of sherlock holmes attitude to find contact information. Everyone can do it once in a while. I hope you understand my, not so good english

I wrote in FT forum and my text was manipulated. I already opt-out my images, but now FT made me PO.

Only 500 images there and 12 sales during a year. The reason why downloading tends to remain, it's 20 images day limit. Why not 100-150 on one week or so?

Next conversation, is this misleading marketing?
Hi,
I don't agree that this is misleading.
The licences have no global or time restrictions so the images can be used unlimited in this way. A downloader can also use it in unlimited multiple projects under the terms of the Standard Licence too.
Kind Regards,
Fotolia UK
UNDER the SL.. it is LIMITED.. and misleading!

I've only just noticed the DPC banners and then this thread.
It's actually much worse than it first appears. On the splash page it says this;
$1 an image. Always. 26 million high-res images and vectors Business-ready royalty free license Unlimited print runs Unlimited image use Social media ready
"Unlimited image use" basically means every image downloaded is effectively a free EL for any use whatsoever doesn't it? So we're getting a few cents for EL's courtesy of the DPC?
I asked that earlier, FT's answer: Hi,
Dollar Photo Club only provides Standard Licences, not Extended Licences. Fotolia's Standard Licence also allows Unlimited print runs and Unlimited image use.
Kind Regards,
Fotolia UK

Snip.. I asked them to send me list of all partners and resellers... Waiting.
Hope you share with us if you ever get DP to provide you with list of their partners/ resellers/ etc.
I for one am very interested where they have spread my content - and at what rates. Also I want to be sure that all the files which I have deactivated from DP recently have been correctly taken down from all their partner sites ..
I asked already.. DP: "We don't disclose any information about our API re-sellers or partner sites."

I almost forgot the CC.. I asked to close my account, it's so quiet. It's closed but they don't payout earnings under $25. I have there 92c.. so they are the thief

Why don't you delete your images (account) if you feel bad and write few words (your opinion) about partners sites and re-sellers on your blog? Trust me, this way you'll get to more people. More people will understand your situation and maybe they can use your value informations... more and better than middle finger. I guess I agree. I wrote already to editor of local photo magazine if they like to make a story about this view of point of microstocking and of course about the DP. I also wrote the warning for local finnish stock photographers. You know, in Finland often one word (image) meaning very, very very much.

I asked who are the API re-sellers that I can check out that my images are out. This was DPs answer:
"We don't disclose any information about our API re-sellers or partner sites."
This is starting to be too thick "porridge", do they have something to hide? Why we should not to know who sell our pictures? I think this is the end of this story.. I must use my middle.. no.. I mean index finger and do some clicks..

If some site is slower removing, you can always --in the meanwhile-- try deleting all the significant keywords of the file, to avoid it being found. Good point, this can work!
Depending on where you have your work, you might have to seek out partners, associates, affiliates and resellers. (etc)
You are right.. Not so good idea Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What do you think, is it a good idea to offer images direct for ShotShop?
148
« on: March 11, 2014, 09:19 »
Now my images are out from ShotShop!

« on: March 11, 2014, 07:25 »
Can anyone verify they their "deactivated" images are still available for purchase on Shotshop? That may be the only way now to eliminate this BS short of getting an attorney.
I check it out about week ago, I eliminated one image and it was right away not available for purchase!

This reply is BS! I've just checked on a fresh computer that never accessed ShotShop before and my arround 1000 images are there available for purchasing!
Same here.. And yes, they are available for purchase..
