Adobe Stock / Re: Do you upload full resolution files to Fotolia or downsized and why?« on: October 16, 2015, 05:05 »
Resizing photos for fotolia is just stupid. It costs you time and it costs you sales and money. And you gain nothing.

Bigstock.com / Re: Same vector downloaded twice at the same time« on: October 16, 2015, 02:12 »
Yeah, I thought so. I had similar thing happened about a week ago. Same file, download at SS as SOD (for 0,7$ or sth. like that) and then a few hours later at bigstock same file for 3$. I've felt as if I have been cheated for EL sale.

Bigstock.com / Same vector downloaded twice at the same time« on: October 16, 2015, 02:05 »
So, I had this sale of a vector file, which was sold twice at the same time. Each for 3.31$. Bigstock says it's "Bigstock Partner Basic" sale. Anyone knows why would someone buy same file twice?

What do you gain with plus account anyway?

I had one "interest" in my photo. And it also finished with only "interest".

When you reach payout earnings and request payment (Convert my credits) it gives you option to select between PayPayl and Moneybookers.

I'm not seeing any drop. I have almost the same number of sales as in september (which was BME) and earned slightly more money.
You probably have to blame it on your photos rather then SS. 1387
Apparently, there are more then 3 million designs created each month. I think that's a huge number.

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe new extended licences $79« on: October 11, 2015, 01:39 »
Well, I'm not changing mine. If you look prices of some of the "foto agencies", they go "sky-high".
For example: https://en.fotolia.com/id/79988176 800 for EL. 1389

There is a reviewer at SS who rejects everything except 1 photo. You probably stumbled on him.

I guess they can't pay all the thousands contributors at once.

Adobe Stock / Re: Worth to Put Hi-Res on Adobe/FT?« on: October 08, 2015, 03:22 »
Aha, sorry. Well, the way I see it, if you upload minimum required size, you don't even give yourself a chance to have XL sales. At the sime time, I don't see what you gain, if you submit only minimum size files.

Adobe Stock / Re: Worth to Put Hi-Res on Adobe/FT?« on: October 08, 2015, 02:52 »
How can you have XL sale, if you upload minimum required size? I checked one of my photo, size 3000 x 1993px and the maximum size one can buy is L.

Adobe Stock / Re: Worth to Put Hi-Res on Adobe/FT?« on: October 08, 2015, 01:35 »
Well, I went and checked, I had 8 10 credits sales in september. 1 so far this month...

Adobe Stock / Re: Worth to Put Hi-Res on Adobe/FT?« on: October 08, 2015, 01:17 »
So, if I understand correctly, you only upload minimum required size of photo and deprive yourself from making money from XL credit sales?
Or maybe, if a buyer wants your photo (even if sub sale) and sees he can't get max. size, downloads photo from another contributor which has max. size? 1399
Shutterstock.com / Re: Image spam?« on: October 07, 2015, 00:38 »
I "image searched" on google with photo of one of this icons, and it only shows shutterstock results.
I also coppied first 20 keywords and put them in the fotolia and istock search and there were no results. 1400
Adobe Stock / Re: "Extended use" purchase price setting to maximize our profit?« on: October 06, 2015, 11:57 »
I've had 5 EL's this year. Two for 30 credits. After Adobe tookover, my rank jumped to silver and I was able to set my price for ELs to 100 credits. I've done that for all my images and had 3 ELs for 100 since then.
