Today I sent the TIF file as they asked and got the money from the publishing company. This is my image that they found on IS:

It was Dreamstime, but they never gave me those $5.
Same case for me too.

I haven't had issues with purple fringing with this lens, but since it seems that some day I will. Maybe you can explain how to correct it with Photoshop, CS3 or Elements for all the people who will be reading the thread? Others describe it as "easily" correct.
The second method has worked for me: http://submit.shutterstock.com/newsletter/133/article1.html

It's great to see that SS acted so quickly. Did you find out what the problem was? In any case, Whitechild's recommendations above are good to follow...

This is unnerving. I hope they solve this for you as soon as possible.

I don't know if the variance comes from manufacturing tolerance or possibly the graphics card not really being up to the task of driving both monitors equally.
It begs the question though, which one is correct?
My guess is that, in the case of identical monitors, it should be the graphics card. usually, they have one VGA and one DVI output these days. One is analog and one is digital. The analog one brings some variation into it by definition.

If you guys noticed, it certainly helps to have your istock username start with A rather than Z - For example, everybody from 10196 to 11772 has 200+ downloads and usernames are all in alphabetical order

I got this in my email today. It's an interesting article: Camera manufacturers are getting into the High Dynamic Range software game with onboard features that merge bracketed exposures into one image. Sigma already has a camera on the market with HDR and many familiar names will follow. (Heres a review of the camera on the Adorama site: http://www.adorama.com/alc/blogarticle/11676) This will be a major development, as contrast control still eludes even the most expensive camera bodies.

Great images guys! Here are some of mine: The sky was originally covering only 1/3 of the background, the rest were leaves and two other bars: This is heavily colored: This too: and this:

Wrong. Actually it shows this info for US contributors as well. Click on payment history and you'll see the breakdown.
I was wrong! I was looking at the last row of payments instead of the first row. I have about 25% of US sales.

While uploading with DeepMeta on Saturday, i got two errors that my files are not JPG files. I put them in the queue again and the upload was successful. There is definitely something wrong with their upload lately.

I have one 22" plus one 20" monitor. I like my dual monitor setup because I get to run all the "background" application on the second monitor while I can edit photos on the primary one. Sometimes I put my palettes and tools on the second monitor as well.

I'm in the US so SS doesn't provide me with this information. anyway, it's a good piece of information that everything doesn't need to be marketed with a US customer in mind.

Keith, It's very common for iStockphoto applications to be rejected because they find images to be too similar in subject. The same thing has happened to me, too. My three images were rejected because all three images were taken of people outdoors. I learned they they want to see variety, basically that you can deliver a variety of topics to your portfolio. I would suggest to try to take some pictures of people, some of landscapes, and then some isolation. It is a great idea to post your candidate pictures on IS forum, or to get Salomone to post for you. It has helped me a lot. Only after I got positive reviews for three pictures. I submitted them and passed. Good luck, I'm sure you will get in and it is definitely worth it

It makes sense. My understanding was that whole the purpose of premium subscription plan is for buyers to be able to get XL images.

Well, here's my related story First, I had this image accepted with a release: Then this image was rejected because it HAD a release: When I told DT how the first image was accepted, and asked them to accept the second one, they wouldn't do it. I had to resubmit the second image without the release. However, DT then DISABLED the first image without even telling me about it. I only noticed that the number of images decreased. I resubmitted the second image, without the release, of course, and the image was pending for weeks. I was on vacation at the time. Only after I wrote to customer support again, they accepted the image. I wish they were more consistent, both with their reviews and also when they are deciding whether to just reverse the rejection, like they do sometimes, or to make us resubmit.

A couple of times when I logged in to the new site with Firefox, I only got "{"status":"ok"}" message on an empty screen. It would be great to have a cookie so we don't have to log in every time.
Thanks Whitechild for reporting the issue with watermarks and thanks Micke for responding so quickly. My watermarks were enabled but I saw a few pictures of other contributors without them.

I see the same problem now. The page either keeps loading and it won't finish or it tells me I provided the wrong sign-in information. I tried cleaning the cookies and it still didn't help. I guess the next step is to contact them...

.. another place I've being meaning to go for years is Brazil, but the wife always wants to go back to Europe, all because of the beautiful girls in Ipanema beach I guess,
Oh, you can make a deal, go to Europe in summer and to Brazil in winter, when it's summer there I've been to Brazil a few times and I'm sure you'll both like it.

It also looks a little bit soft to me. Maybe you can post a part of the picture in the original size? Only at 100% we can best see the technical issues.
