Thanks for the reply's. I only receive microstock payments on my Paypal account but dont want to pay a fee over them. I just requested a payout at Dreamstime and Canstock and will see if a fee is being deducted.

Hi all,
I noticed my Paypal status has changed from Personal to Premier account. I didn't get any notification that this change happened but I guess they changed it after receiving my ID and address details. It is my understanding that fees are involved when recieving money on a Premier account. Can anyone confirm that?
Thanks.

To be honest with you, I cant really see anything working in P or fully Auto modes. For starters if you shoot in Raw, which you should do, all in-camera settings should be zeroed, especially sharpness and noise-red, these are the ones causing artifacts and noise.
It's my understanding that in-camera settings are used for JPEG-creation. The camera always shoots RAW, uses the settings and create a JPEG and then deletes the RAW if you didnt choose to keep it. RAW is data straight from the sensor.

Anyone else experiencing long reviewing times? I have a batch of editiorials pending since 24feb and my oldest non-editorials pending are from 3mar. I've never experienced such long waiting times at IS.

I use Noise Ninja. It's used for almost every shot I take. You can select which part of the image needs noise reduction and how much and add a bit of USM sharpening too. Many of my shots are taken with ISO 200 which really require noise reduction to be accepted. Noise Ninja does the job for me.

Interesting. I'm experiencing the opposite. Till a few weeks ago SS would review all my pending batches at once. Now they review my batches separately. It also takes longer for them to review. Normally when uploaded on Wed-Fri they were revieved within 24 hours. Now I have a batch pending for more then 3 days already.

I'd suggest you do more then just isolated shots. Go to your local airport, harbor, industrial parc, etc, etc. And shoot as much as different subjects as you can. Than upload small batches a couple of times a week with 1 or 2 shots per subject. That's how I do it. I have almost no isolations and people shots (except editiorial events) and still make about $1 per image per month.

I edit my pictures from RAW with 16bit AdobeRGB. before I save and upload I convert to 8bit and sRGB. AdobeRGB is better for print but make pictures on the web look dull.

Just a small slightly off-topic question:
Does anyone know if there were also Extended Licenses involved in these fraudulent purchases? Because I've been with IS for over a year and never had an EL with them and now have 2 within one week.

Mostly just typing the first word (if it's longer than the second) will get you in. Also capitals and punctuation marks don't have to be typed. But it stays annoying.

Kindly write in to [email protected] and we will effectively remove your portfolio from Pixmac.
I tried that but was advised "We could do an exclusion for you. But, by doing that exclusion, Your name and images will not appear in any of our partner's program site." which is not really what I want. Where do I go from here?
I got the same e-mail today. I want my images removed from Pixmac but stay in the PP at 123RF.

I have about 350 shots on IS. Half of them are on PP. In January 40% of my IS income came from PP.

Their reviewing is a big joke. I'm rebuilding my portfolio there after i changed from USD to EUR. Sometimes they accept a whole batch, sometimes 50/50 or they just reject everything. The last view days it's been 90% reject. There is just no logic to be found why they would accept/reject a shot. Also their rejection reasons are useless.
I'm already considering dropping FT again..

I deleted my port from Cutcaster about a year ago and my account has been inactive since then. Now I thought I'd give it a try again with some new shots but how do I upload on the new website? The help page says: login and click on "My Account." Within your Account, click on Media Files and then Upload Media FilesBut there is no "Media Files" tab in my account to be found

I have the same list as click_click on the right. No Partner Program tab. But if I go to "View my portfolio" i do see the PP tab. Clicking that shows my uploads but not my pp-sales. I use W7 64bit & Firefox
I 've just sended an email to support.

Thanks for your reply but I only have the following column headings:
File Edit Uploaded Editorial Use Only Last comment Views Royalty DLs/mo DLs Last DL
And your link just displays the newest uploads for me.
The dropdown list shows: -Active/pending -Deactivated -Rejected -Active dollar files -Deactivated dollar files
I have had sales on PP-sites since November according to my Profile stats, so it's not like i'm opted out.

Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can see which pictures have been sold on the IS Partner Program? There used to be a PP-tab in My Account (which didnt work..) but it disappeared.
Thanks,
Wolf

I've had some editorials accepted awhile ago but I can't see them in my portfolia. Do they keep editorial and RF separated?
