Shelma, do you want to tell me that people getting big SoDs are in this collection? Great!  ;D Waiting for full transfer of my gallery to SoDs branch only  :P To be serious, I thought all of us get that high prices in SoDs...

153
About the price, the contributor is the only person to set the price, maybe you find some normal images with a higher price, while some excellent images with a lower price, but all these are decided by contributors, we believe they will choose the right price with the development of the market.

Jojo, you give some options to choose column of pricing. It's not the same as choose price for every size handly. And for example, if I choose B2, C1 or C2 option/ column there's Extended license cheaper than the oryginal full res size. Is it correct? Why is that?  ???  C2 example, standard RF use is for original (full) size for 500$ and Ex.Lic. for 300$? I must miss something here.

About technical issue I'll be in email touch with Fredrick as got PM from him.

Thanks,
I got rejection in Dec.'14 but I registered (opened account? accidentally when searching for my image, as friend told it's on your site but it doesn't matter) in March '15. If I understand correct this is something else, two different accounts: only register to make projects and be accepted to sell work?
From your email:
"Confirming your account will give you full access to Canva and all future notifications will be sent to this email address..... "
Then I got email with:
"Thanks for signing up for Canva! We're excited to have you onboard......."

Today I got email with:
"It's celebration time. You've created 10 designs in Canva. Kudos to you! Keep on rocking it with great graphics."

I don't understand all this situation at all  :P
I applied once, in Dec., got rejection and registered in March with no second apply and did no designs, except one test to play it and see how your site works, but it's not public I guess, lol :D

Can anyone help me find info how to upload images here? All I can do is to upload to small size to make some project and public it as project. I don't get this site  :P

Same here, I don't upload my best work to SS as I care it's value. Now good question how they pick up people to this game...

157
Thanks Jojo for the steps but "edition" is not working, I can't see any of my images to choose them. I can see clear white space between menu above and instructions down the page.

And yes, I admit that the pricing on the site is crazy and complicated/entangled...

158
Jojo, can you tell please where and how can I change the pricing for already uploaded images? I feel like there's no that option at all after it was chosen once... :(

159
If you find a great image on a stock images agency which price is too high, you can search it with Discover, and you may find many similar images but with a much lower price.
So, using Discover could help you to save time and money by searching licensed images with random images.

If I understand correct, you help clients to find image as cheap as possible? That's great! For clients... Well, many PRO authors will be indignant with your tool as they (we) try to sell for higher than lower pricing. I mean helping find the cheapest image means less income for author - your tool works agains photographers. Am I correct thinking it works this way? I know my instinct may seem not nice but it tells me something smells bad here for my business.

From other thread:
... We don't want to see the price lower and lower. We try to change the rule. Profit-sharing mode is the most important thing to the relationship between contributor and image stock agency.

Hm... We (authors) don't want to see lower and lower prices too...

And now we have four threads on the forum :)

This one is no4.

Wow, it's so much work with one graphic project! I'm not sure if I had so much patience ;) And your work is great! Good luck with your conpcept, keep it going and never give up, I believe it will work well for you... I've tried something similar with my photos, making slideshows for YT. I got to many people and focused their attention, I've found clients this way and can tell you it works :)

Sean, as I know you have moved some exclusive (premium) images there, right? I just was approved and I wonder about the exclusivity. Is there option to opt out of the exclusive move? I woudn't like to delete my images from other sites, I don't want to be exclusive at all... If they don't let me opt out then I will know to not upload my work here.
Thanks for any info :)

Pond5 / Re: Review Times
« on: March 15, 2015, 12:03 »
My photos usually are reviewed within 1,5 - 2 weeks. It happened to wait about 3 weeks but that was long time ago and some holidays around.

164
I'm not sure if I understand this new something... Is the idea that client pays once 9,99 (or once a month, doesn't matter much) and downloads unlimited files? It's absurd, which contributor would want this? It's obvious it's agains our business... I don't get it, help anyone?

If yes, if above is correct then... StockUnlimited=one huge market crush!

165
Great post Paulie, as usual ;) It should be pinned up high in the forum.

I was just checking my March earnings on SS and thinking if I would join them now, with 0,25$/DL offer... I don't think so...

General Stock Discussion / Re: Searching for a site
« on: March 12, 2015, 15:23 »
http://ezmediart.com/?aff=7677 is offering 99% at the moment and 70% in general.

99% ? They must really need new stuff... Did anyone sell anything here?

0 Sales for me. But according to a newsletter they wanted to start an advertising campaign in December.

And the TO didnt ask for a site that sells, he wants to point his buyers there.

It's far after Dec. so I'm asking, if they did start it? I don't see any movement here especially...
Stockbo, Stoctal etc new agencies died before got alive. How about Ez? Is it another one point to delete from the future (possible income source) list?

Symbiostock / xx mentioned - old notification emails flood
« on: March 12, 2015, 12:26 »
Since today morning I'm flooded with emails: "Symbiostock - Community Based Plugins xxx mentioned you in an update". All of them (notif.) are from 2014 and have nothing to do with actual activity. Anybody else?

Long time ago we (on this forum) agreed that this is WOT only, not worth one tear. And yes, site doesn't work and I'm glad I didn't upload to them even...

« on: March 11, 2015, 13:37 »
In my case SS hit the BME in first week of March. For me I see nice increase lately, SoDs and ODs are coming in bunches. Propably it will change in two weeks after search re-organisation? ;)

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Whats going on with iStock?
« on: March 11, 2015, 12:48 »
In my case: two years ago I've noticed less and less clients, huge droping of views month by month, batch by batch. A year ago closed my account. Very poor views were one of reasons. I wouldn't expect iS to be back in good condition from years ago ever.

General - Stock Video / Re: Who is http://www.fotkyfoto.com??
« on: March 10, 2015, 13:31 »
In the forum there were threads about distribs. Contributor gets standard abonament cents in similar sites. Dozens of sites selling your images with higher pricing when client buys wallpaper, print or anything else...

Alamy.com / Re: "your images are trending"
« on: March 10, 2015, 10:55 »
I think any zooms at all on Alamy must put you in the top 10% CTR.
Nope, I have pretty many zooms and it's not working ;)  Even with CTR above 1.xx

On Alamy forum one guy opened thread where shared his last sale - 12k $ for 2 licenses. After few minutes later the thread was gone... Is Alamy hiring something?
