I also stop uploading pictures on DT. Sales are becoming smaller and smaller. For me it is a waste of time. I stop uploading on iS too ( do to they last " great news").

I have great respect for Laurin. Also for David. They have taught me a lot about stock photography, especially food photography. I thought that it's just me who go so bad because of my port or I belief that adding no more than 100 / 150 pictures per month it's the problem.
I try to be more optimistic but, for now, I don't see how. I began to work on another project with my photos, maybe I will do much better than stock photography, who knows ?!... I hope that Laurin, David and other great people from this industry also find another niche.

Stupid question, but how do you edit your statistics' graph on DT, e.g. by unselecting (graying out) certain categories and leaving others, as shown on your screenshot? Can't find this feature in my account statistics section.

Same happened for me. I sent them an email (about pour sales) and this was the answer:

"Thank you for contacting Dreamstime.
We have tools on the site to help you analyze your portfolio’s performance.
You can look into your statistics area and compare your uploads number
with the total database exposure, which is suggestive for the high
amount of content that we receive.
That is under Management Area/Statistics.

There you can analyze your account's performance.
It is also helpful to read the forums, blogs etc. to try to improve your portfolio.
Many contributors to the site have discussions on the message boards that can be very helpful:

There are even sub-forums there specifically for illustrators and photo editing programs like Photoshop.
Quantity, quality and diversity are the most important factors when building your portfolio.
