Adobe Stock / Re: What does the Adobe Stock program mean for royalties?« on: June 26, 2015, 10:16 »
This guy is just obsessed with Fotolia and SS and their prices. Probably just trying to convince himself to stay exclusive at Istock.

I'm having mostly credits sales. Not much though, but they are regular. And this month is my second best month at the moment.

Unfair policy for whom? I'm getting pain in euros, but I'm from EU. But if I was getting paid in US dollars and then loosing money, when converting to , would that be fair?

Pond5 / Re: Anyone Having Luck Selling Photos ?« on: June 24, 2015, 02:57 »
I'm having 1-2 sales per month with ~500 images. Similar as with Photodune or CanStock. And with their 50% commission I'm slowly but surely reaching a payout.

I'm doing very well, that is - for my standards ofcourse. I actually just had 2.67 sub sale.

It means you should upload photos with "normal" aspet ratio, not something like 30x3000px.

My suggestion: EL counts for 5 downloads.

As Mat told you, the market will expand. So, just take a deep breath, sit down, relax and wait.

I had higher number of sales this week then the previous two weeks before the Adobe stock announcment, also had one EL sale today. But I can't tell if it's just a good week or it's Adobe thing.
Also have one question: Does everybody raise their EL price to the maximum? I have a possiblitiy now to raise price of all photos to 100 credits. For some of the photos I did that (luckily also for the one I sold EL today), but most are still set to 30 credits. 1539

5. 3 saturday, 2 Sunday. All subs.

Dreamstime.com / Re: Request for image« on: June 21, 2015, 12:03 »
Yes, I have the same experience. All ELs that I had (not that there were many of them) were more or less low-sellers.

Dreamstime.com / Re: Request for image« on: June 21, 2015, 11:56 »
I guess it all depends on what kind of image is buyer requesting for EL. For example I had few ELs for images that didn't sell more then 10 times in all agencies combined in 1 year period. So 100$ for an image, that doesn't sell well isn't such a bad deal.

CanStockPhoto.com / Re: Pleasant Surprise« on: June 21, 2015, 11:35 »
Yeah, you never now, first nothing and then bam, big sale. Like bigstock, I had 1 EL sale for 25$ which is almost unheard of. Before that only few 0.27$ sub sales.

Adobe Stock / Re: Introducing Adobe Stock!« on: June 19, 2015, 14:49 »Mat comes in here and remains calm, speaks factually as possible and is probably the voice in the new Adobe structure that seems favorable for contributors (for now anyway). Is this favorable to contributors in your opinion? Even after 200,000 sales you'll get 10% less than SS at around 10-15,000 sales. Commission for sub sales are not only .25 or .27 or.... They range from .25 to 3. For example, I had today and yesterday sub sales:0.90$, 1.50$, 0.99$, 0.33$, 0.57$, 0.80$. And your constant comparison with SS is starting to get really annoying. I sell less files on FT than SS, but I earn more money. 1544
Adobe Stock / Re: Introducing Adobe Stock!« on: June 19, 2015, 13:12 »
Everybody is saying as if only designers buy stock photos. What about other user? Magazines, newspapers, blogs, websites. They don't need Adobe, do they? And if the pricing on SS is similar to Fotolia, why would they change agency, if they don't use and need Adobe's products.

Adobe Stock / Re: Fotolia Status« on: June 18, 2015, 06:05 »
Ok, thanks, it worked. I changed XS price from 1 to 3, and all other sizes automatically changed too. Before that, I only changed X price from 30 to 100 and other prices remained the same.
I still have one question though, if I change my mind, and change the status of exclusive files to non-exclusive, can I upload them to other sites or do I have to wait some time before I can do that? 1549
Adobe Stock / Re: Fotolia Status« on: June 18, 2015, 05:47 »
I have changed status of some files, that were accepted today to exclusive. But the pricing hasn't changed. It's still as if they were non-exclusive. Anyone knows, how to change that?

Alamy has a strict rules? For me, they are the only agency, beside iStock, that didn't reject any of my files.
