I noticed that too. Same object and then shot at 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, then turned to 30 degrees left, 35 degrees left and so on, and then turned to all possible angles to the right and shot 20 times..... it's crazy, I think they should reject such stuff, no wonder, some people have 20k+ images. For example: http://www.shutterstock.com/portfolio/search.mhtml?gallery_landing=1&gallery_id=1256674&page=1&safesearch=1&sort_method=newestThis is just ridiculous, what they're accepting.

I am not seeing this pattern. I have 4 normal days (monday to thursday) and +-friday and slow weekend.
I'm counting only the downloads. Range of $$ vary widely depending on how many OD's.
Same here, monday to thursday normal, fridays sometimes normal, sometimes not, saturdays sunday, mostly slow.

Is there another review process of images from IS to Thinkstock?
I have 800 images approved on IS and 600 images on Thinkstock. Random missing images over the past year that I have been uploading to IS.
Many thanks in advance.
Barry
I have some 300 vectors on iStock and only 250 on Thinkstock. I didnt care much about it because it is a common problem but some time ago I read in a thread on iStock forums that the transfer to Thinkstock could be triggered by changing title or adding keywords of the image on iStock. I forgot about it then but after reading this thread, I tested it yesterday with 5 images and it worked!!
So what I tried was - changing title (removing one word) with two images, adding one keyword with another two images and with the last image I changed both title and keywords - to test more options. I did that yesterday morning and this morning all 5 previously missing files are now on Thinkstock! To my surprise, I didnt expect it would work but it did. Perhaps you could try it.
Note: those newly added images are now listed as the newest ones, when I sort the Thinkstock port by Newest so thats where you could check it, if you try it.
It's working for me too. I changed the title for one of my photos at iStock and is now listed at Thinkstock as the Newest. But it's going to be real pain checking which images are missing and then changing titles or keywords.

So, I went to "Upload history" to check my last submitted files, and it says 2 accepted, 4 rejected. But when I go to "View images" all of them have "Accepted" sign on them.

Ok, now I checked Thinkstock. I'm missing about 250 of my files (out of 590)

Hm, I've read once, that, once files are transfered to other sites, if you change keywords on iStock, changes would not apply to already trasfered files?

I'm contributor at SS from April 2014. I had 1 EL on November 2014 and 1 EL this month.

They don't need EL beacuse they're not re-selling photos. They are selling it on behalf of fotolia.

I had one LEL this month. It netted me 6.09$. I'm a level 2 contributor.

If bad news means 20% increased sales, like in the last two months (and how it's going so far, this month also), then bring 'em on.

So, basically you're all saying, with top lens, you can't make bad photo?
Because, while it's true, you can't make a good quality photo with bad lens, you can make a bad quality photo with good lens.

There is no old uploader back. It's still the new uploader.
Anywway, I like the new uploader better, beacuse you can select multiple files at the same time. With old uploader, you could only select 1 file at the time. And yes, the uploading (processing) files is maybe a little slow, but so was old uploader.

Weird. I get pretty much everything accepted. Out of portfolio of cca. 500 photos only few were rejected.

I think, 24.42$ gross means, if the buyer is from US, iS will took 5% from that amount for taxes. Otherwise, I keep complete amount.

I just sold my first EL on iStock. I know you don't care, but I just wanted to share my happiness with you. It grossed me 24.42$.
Anyway, what are the usual earnings from EL?

So, I tried to register with panthermedia, but I found out, that my photos are already in the database. Is panthermedia partner site of fotolia or any other stock site?
