Thanks for the info.

Netting 1/4 of my usual income there is still a huge bummer.

Only remaining option to remove a lot of images AFAIK is to close account. I am waiting to see what my monthly payout is for the first month after the new payment scheme. If it is noticeably down from current rate, then I will be closing my account. Frack 'em.

Then a few months ago, my income was cut in half. I am now at $80 a month or so. They definitely made some sort of search change or lost a c r a p load of buyers. Me too. Was consistently making $300-400 or more a month there for several years, then a couple of months dropped to less than $200 and this month looks to be under $100. Nevrr seen such a steep dropoff in so short a time anywhere! Never thought I'd have to ask, but whats their min payout per month? I may not make it. ![]() 179

They are changing the term "Copyright " to "Credit Line" on asset details pages?! Do they think they are going to be able to claim copyright to our work?
Even if they are only implying they control the copyrights to contributors property they are being very deceptive. ![]() 180

It's was on the same time when they gone public and when they started to play with search engine. Have you only seen the drop on SS? I saw it pretty much everywhere. Now tho, Adobe/FT is picking up, so there is a bright spot. If it continues I may start uploading there again. 181

Okay, thanks for the info. It may have been a glitch because the earnings total it listed was actually what I got paid LAST month for October. The November total is different by around $200.
I appreciate the help Sue and Dave. ![]() 182
iStockPhoto.com / Did I imagine this? Istock« on: December 14, 2016, 01:24 »
I could swear I got a letter early this month from Istock stating that they had paid me for my Nov. earnings. My reaction was surprise because they usually pay on the 25th, but with that being Christmas, and with the whole structure changing on the 23rd this month, I thought: Okay, I guess they are paying early this month.
Stupidly, I deleted the letter. Now went to make my usual mid-month paypal withdrawal and the money isn't there. Did I misread the letter, and they were just giving me the total of the payout but not actually paying it? Can't find anything on the site other than the usual "we will pay on the 25th of the month" statement, but often their pages take months to catch up with their new policies. Does anyone know when they are making payouts this month, or if they already did and I missed it? 183

Can I ask where you looked to get the screenshot with your payment history? I can't find it on Istock anywhere.
Nevermind - found it under the Financials tab on my profile page. Didn't see it before because every time I hit the financials tab it just spun and never appeared. 184

Is this normal?« on: December 14, 2016, 00:34 »I just talked about December, but for couple of years my sales were dropped about 75% , but portfolio still growing. This is not because of December!!! When they started to play with search engine and us couple years ago, this was ok mounth. Now it' about 75% lower. I started around the same time you did, and having the same experience. I say this not to offend you again, but to suggest we may have both hit the wall. Believe me, I am not any happier about it than you. One difference. I gave up uploading after a year or two of losing money. If I'm going to lose money anyway, I'd rather do it sitting on my a$$. 185

It's just an agency trying to sell your images - the more "moneygrubbing" they do, the more you get paid. If only that were true. I notice the more moneygrubbing they do the less of it winds up in my pockets. 188

Now with this tax form--they do not accept hotmail account to correspond so I have to get a g-mail account to get information. Has anyone tried calling their main office? Sales are dropping there and no justification to keep it at $100 anymore. Used to be I could earn that in a week. Now I am lucky to earn it in a month. 191

I'm looking forward to setting my own prices for some of my images and see how they perform. Let us know if you see a drop or rise in earnings. What was true back when FT ran the show may be different with Adobe. Hopefully so. I turned emerald a couple years ago and had the rumored drop in income even tho I didn't think it would happen to me, but past few months I am seeing income from FT/Adobe improving, so maybe it's changed, like gyllens said. 192
Adobe Stock / Re: Emerald Contribution rate more more cash?« on: December 07, 2016, 16:54 »
FT does this neat little trick where they bury your work when you get emerald so your sales drop and overall earnings go down. Great way of rewarding success - NOT.

People come, people go. Usually it has more to do with whats going on in their life than anything said here. I think the main reason so many long time posters don't post is cuz micro is not profitable or exciting for top contributors anymore as they've watched their incomes wither away. 195

iStockPhoto.com / Re: iStock Royalty Change« on: December 05, 2016, 22:14 »Anyone heard from Yuri Arcurs? I see he has stopped doing anything with social media and was last here in August, if he doesn't have a secret alias. He still has a tiny portfolio on DT. Shame there was such a bust up with the non-exclusives, I'm sure Getty must of made him an offer he couldn't refuse but it was still so strange to see the biggest non-exclusive going with them at that time. I'm sure it was always going to work out well for him financially and that makes business sense but it didn't seem like a smart PR move I doubt it worked out as well for him as he thought it would. If it had he'd be crowing about it, here, on his website, in any blog that would interview him. His silence speaks volumes. He also did damage to contributors as a whole. When he went exclusive at Getty and the world didn't end at the other sites, he proved to all agencies that any contributors are expendable, even the top seller. 197

Does this mean soon we will only be able to check stats, request payouuts, and upload thru Adobe? I haven't bothered getting set up on the Adobe site because we were told we could keep using Fotolia. Mat?
