This flower is growing everywhere in Poland, it's very popular and I could say it's like a weed.
Alcea for sure.

I think that too, it must be error only. No explanations from me.

My images are not trending even as I had sale few days ago :( No email...

To be serious it's a little bit worrying that so many people with poor sales (or complaining) get info they are in 10%. That means sales must be really bad in whole agency, am I correct?

For me they were one of the worst earners. Closed my account long time ago. DPC is something to read and learn for you.

You know what, I remember old period when SS was accepting around 95-100% of batch and it was normal, standard. Now, when I have better gear and postprocessing, they often reject 95-100% (next upload is approved but new files of mixed batch get rejection to get approved next time by "mistake" email). Crazy! I don't get them at all...

Edit
For a change I just got 100% approved, lol  ???    SS spy must be here!  ;D

I was going to ask the same - if you people still upload only minimum possible size to not sel your max size images in subs.? Few years ago I remember contributors did this in mass.

An old thread up, I know.

Another year regular situation as March has came with bunch of SoDs again. Anyone else?

I've noticed that March and April are best months for SoDs. Nice, fat, full and shining $ coming ;) I've already (in 6 days of March) earned more than usually in whole month! I wouldn't complain if it stays for good ;)

Gabriela, many people avoid SS because of too low pricing. Some people respect their work enought to sell it in other, fair pricing places, SS is volume seller. If you fell you can and want to do mass, tones of photos, feel free to use SS. But if you preffer to take care of your work, control it and sell for higher pricing then 500px wil lbe much better place.

0,25$ is definitely NOT encouraging price for your work. Even 0,40$ is still some joke, I mean it's like giving for free, I think. (Selling mass is another case, don't mix two things for now). That's why I don't upload my better images here.

Ps. Are you from Poland? Your name is familiar :)

I hope you instigate/provoke only. Go back to threads from 2014 about DP and you will find your answer and you won't have any more questions or doubts... DP=NO! Just give a wide berth.

Herg, your information says nothing to us... We have no clue what kind of images you offer, what is the number of your files, etc... You gave empty numbers.

In one month I've made more sales with over 2,5k files than you in over 3 years.

The sweetest job...!

One year (and first at the same time), 300 images, 0 (zero) sales. I payed for account 30$ at the begining, not renew it as I don't see sense throwing my money away.

That's what I said... twice...

-----------------------------------------------------
Edit
By accident I've found weird thing - my image is on Prime but I didn't add this for sale, I didn't choose "submit for licensing" button in this case, I only uploaded to gallery. Can anyone else check if there's bigger problem or is it only me? I have some RM images in my gallery and wouldn't like to see them RF in 500px shop...  :-\

Deyan, to clear the case above - my question about search in Google was to amabu, as he asks you what you sell - you're not hiding so whatta problem serach for your name to see what images you offer in gallery, right?

I have 7.5K images on sale there and I have regular sales. Yes, it's complicated process to upload in 500px, but it worth. Just make all low resolution images watermarked thru photoshop, than upload watermarked in 500px and high resolution in prime.500px.com

Are you actually selling "normal" stock images there? Or do you have such a large "fine art" portfolio?

Did someone damage your Google search?  :P

Deyan, you must admit it's hard to understand why in these days 500px can't offer watermark and resizing and makes us to do it handly, wasting time for something which is normal everywhere? It's annoying to prepare and upload images twice, do you hear that 500px!?!

Ha! That's a good question as they sell licenses better (more $ income) than many low earners!

194
I'm surprised it's not popular yet... Very weird.
Btw, my man just saw the film and can't understand that they have beer there! Lol :D

195
I think someone else started the term, but I'm thinking it covers the situation. "Rogue Reviewers" who seem to be rejection happy and click random reasons to make faster reviews and more money. There must be a turnover and that could mean inexperienced reviewers also.

But that poor rasterization and soft at full size, is more of a full of it rejection. When one image is soft at full size and the next is over sharpened (and I don't sharpen!) then the next is soft, alternating down a line of rejections. I suspect someone is just an unhappy reviewer and making money with as little effort as possible.

SS says they review the reviewers. Yeah, but do the complaints get flagged? Why do we have to waste time writing and waiting for long periods of time, without knowing if anything will ever change. There needs to be more monitoring of the reviewers, and some way that we can easily flag these Rogue Reviews, so they get special attention.

Amen!! Those "mistakes" are to often and many people admit that. It makes me mad to see 100% batch rejected just to be sent again (after first email contact) to get 100% approved  >:(
I just got info from few guys, they were reviewed by "butcher", 100% rejections. All work for nothing. WOT. Maybe next upload will be more lucky.
Uncle Pete, good luck, my files are waiting too. Review will be in a moment.

196
Woow, I want that great work desk!  :o
If SS pays me 50% instead 30% I could go for yoga and massage too...  :'( No, I'm not jealous, I just get significantly less % than my middleman... Who was talking about a rise lately?
