In my opinion, I don't like how they do things. I got contacted a few years ago too. The only way to see what they are all about and their message board is that I had to sign up. Then instead of having the freedom to put in your own personal info and upload your cards and enter info, they wanna do all of that for you.
So I had second thoughts and went on my way. They seemed not pleased with that and were even a bit intrusive.
So nope from me.

Or contact Pond5.  :)

Illustration - General / Re: Is it TM?
« on: November 12, 2018, 23:26 »
Update.  Actually I got the name of the object mixed up with the other mentioned. :-[
I was actually trying to know if Barbicide was TM and it is. But the jar it self is universal so that's alright because other companies make various designs.
Oh well worried for nothing.  :)

Illustration - General / Is it TM?
« on: November 10, 2018, 00:04 »
I worked on a few new vector images relating to the barber shop industry and I was wondering if the word Barbersal would be flagged as TM or copyright if I placed it in as a key word?

Please note it has already passed inspection at AS. Keywords and all.  :)

Up to the individual I guess. Personally I wouldn't. Not enough peanuts.

Adobe Stock / Re: Technical question for illustrators
« on: October 30, 2018, 17:16 »
I noticed that issue a while ago. Problem was solved by just uploading files in a zip.
Apparently it did not like anything that wasn't vertical. Only had issues with horizontal images.  ???

And I also recognise a lot of people's stuff in here, if anyone knows the contributors please email:

Also rips off Disney and StarWars ::)
Usually a good clue if a person has a habit of just using what ever to sell.

First up this one:

https://www.etsy.com/shop/SOFIOSVG/

Definitely had some of my work and I recognise other artists work too. Please look through and report your own stuff.
Even rips off Disney.  ::)

Might be a world wide thing. YOuTube is having issues. Twitter is acting strange today as well.

I only upload to just a few and only a few illustrations at a time.
I would love to upload more animated clips if I have a more advanced computer and if its worth while. As of right now I only do very simple animations since I worry about the rendering to be too much on my computer.  8)

Yeah it reminds me of when you work on site some place and they get this new low paid newbie in and they want you to train him/her. Then its your sorry butt out the door since you cost too much to keep.  😐

Maybe you can always juggle your money back and forth every few months that is if your are allowed 2 accounts? That is if you suspect that be the reason why they are removing money they shouldn't.
Its worth a try.  :-\

I hope that PayPal doesn't get any similar ideas.  ::)

Secret is that not every one does photos. And now I have to throw pies at you.  ;)

Using those online translators is still iffy business. So they are not perfect.
Go look in http://www.engrish.com/ and you will have an idea of what happens.  :D

Its usually the people not the pets that are the problem. If you don't have the time to train a animal properly, don't get one at all. Get a robot instead.  ;)
Also this show has some really good tips. Its a must listen for pet owners.

also try 'Creative Market'...

Sounds like CafePress. If so, I find that place a big hassle and a waste of time. How does this place differ?

Photo Critique / Re: illustrations

You can also try this exercise for your self.
Design an illustration in the style of one of the greats like a classical artist or other. Or what even based on one of your favorite illustrations or illustrators. Then pick a theme and mix them together such as an apple theme and I don't know Leonardo Da Vinci or some illustrator your choose. Then get creative and that's another way you can learn about other styles and take what your like and even add it to your own style.  Can even be from comics, animation and more. Its up to you.
Its one of the exercises that was taught to me years ago when I took graphic design classes.  :)
Remember practice first and then find your self.  ;D :)

Your comparing two different programs. One produces true vectors the other PhotoShop produces JPG and other file types. Just not true vectors.

As for the patterns and other illustrations, it really depends your effort and something that people really like and if its useful. Creativity sometimes takes a back seat.

Over all quality is most important such as great edibility, if you bother cleaning it up , labeling things est. Then people are more likely to remember you the next time they need graphics .  :)

Crestock.com / Re: Crestock not processing payout request

I'm not surprised, Crestock was always a joke and I wonder how they still exist. Hope they eventually pay your earnings.
Is owned by Masterfile. So not likely to go under. Maybe absorbed?
