Yes, Envato owns both. The offer is for 90 days after upload, per clip, but runs until the 3rd of May, so anything uploaded on the 3rd of February or before will get the full 90 day bonus. I'd ignore the estimates they've come up with as I've no idea how they figured those out. Some people earn less than what they do on VideoHive and some people earn more (some considerably more), so it's impossible to give a prediction. However, I've never heard of anybody earning less on Elements and the marketplace combined, than they do just being on the marketplace... so, if you're already on VideoHive, and you're happy to carry on selling there, then it makes sense to join Elements.
The way the email explains it says that my items will be transferred from Videohive to Elements. You suggest that I can continue selling my items on both. Do they let me sell the same item on both platforms?
They will continue to be listed on both platforms ~ however you may find that Elements seriously undervalues your work.

Interesting read
To be honest Alamy and Adobe have both knocked that turd shitterstock in to the long grass for months now.
Alamy is always 1st now then Adobe 2nd and shittystock now a dismal 3rd (they used to be far and away 1st above all others) . ...
as someone said: Proof of this statement? - or is just your ONE datapoint? alamy barely shows up on the monthly poll
I know this is hard for you but do try to keep up
My datapoint is just that a single datapoint unlike the sweeping generalization based on nothing more than supposition.
Data or rather a statement from a single user is completely useless though. If you look at SSs published figures which are audited and would land them in deep trouble if they were wrong its clear that despite what people would love to believe they are doing ok. I know its hard for you but wishing it were otherwise is a waste of energy. https://investor.shutterstock.com/news-releases/news-release-details/shutterstock-reports-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2020-financial
OK for the record "To be honest Alamy and Adobe have both knocked that turd shitterstock in to the long grass for months now. Alamy is always 1st now then Adobe 2nd and shittystock now a dismal 3rd (they used to be far and away 1st above all others) FOR ME ONLY" There is that better? bunch of piss takers

Hope you all realize that we as contributors see a different search then the registered buyer!!...old news I know but still!...if I was to search using a certain keyword which is highly popular I have 7 pics on the first page and they would of course sell like crazy but they dont!! not even once!....why? because in reallity and with the buyers search the pics are probably way down the line!
I have a customer account and I see the same problems

As soon as SS and Adobe take a nose-dive Alamy will change its algorithm to suit everybody they've been doing this for years. Then when SS and Adobe comes up to the surface again Alamy will change it back to suit their editorial members. The little old group that stand for about 80% of turnover!
Proof of this statement?
Just my own and a few thousand old-timers observation throughout the years......anyway just wait and see for yourself.
"a few thousand old-timers " sorry but thats just an opinion not a fact

But I stopped seriously uploading to them as of May last year with the odd single substandard image thrown at them every now and then.

Thanks and interesting. I had to read that a couple times, before I selected: I am happy for Alamy to chase any potential infringements that they find from exclusive images in my collection without notifying me first.
Exclusive Images, not all images. But still I welcome the efforts if it means more return for my efforts. Now I wonder how to check what images I have marked exclusive and if I missed any that got licensed years later, somewhere else?
It would have to be exclusive images only as trying to identify infringements of images held by other agencies would be impossible to police

Scum bag thieves
Sent to me PM I wanted to share with everyone and maybe for writing to the law or suing him.
His name is Philip Shapiro and he uses @Phillychzsteak
The FB page is gone now, https://www.facebook.com/glstock1 closed, [email protected]
During the GLstock auction when he tried to sell.
@Phillychzsteak could you comment more on what Reserve vs demand AWS means and how it impacted costs? What will be the current status at the sale of the company?
https://affnext.com/listing/cpatrend/ he can be found here.
So what did he say?

Unsurprisingly the email bounced. It was worth a try.
Any other ideas as to what we can do? Surely they can't just disappear with our images and money owed like that.
Unless you want to lawyer up then no ideas

I gave up on 123rf some years ago at their best I made $200 in a year (in 2016) then it started to slide to $75 by 2019
the 21 cent royalties and extended QC times really decided for me in the end.

I'll gladly take <$1 when Alamy also gives >$200+ as I've seen today.
Thanks Alamy, after 6 months I no longer want to be broken up with you...
Good times are gone! A macrostock became a microstock site! Sad!
Take a look, your image is on The Guardian.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/dec/01/the-mystery-of-the-gatwick-drone
Oh that sale only earned me a whopping $15.62 gross, which is gross.
Better than 10 cents no matter how you slice it

"beach soccer" out of 21000 plus he gets #1 "airplane" out of 1,678,201 he gets #1, #2 !!! The more I look at this the more I think the fact his twitter profile says he's a "GoDaddy worker" based in Phoenix and his Facebook page states Олег Ёрникъ - Oleg Yornik Меня не существует - I don't Exist All his FB photos were posted in March to April His FB page is filled with nothing as is his Twitter account. His Linkedin page doesn't exist Even his shitterstock profile photo is computer generated ~ he looks fake. Conclusion - I think dear Oleg is a piece of AI masquerading as a person and is probably being used to test search functions and software as there is no way anyone could get the top slot in all of these search terms.

So much excitement over receiving pennies
I care little for pennies, but I am rather excited about the few hundred bucks I usually make on Istock.
This constant looking down on contributors who decide to submit to an agency where they make decent money, but you aren't is getting a bit tiresome. iStock isn't working out for you? Well, sucks. But to some people it's one of their top earners and to some, like myself, it is actually not just pocket change, but money that makes a big contribution to, for example, paying their rent. I am not going around making fun of contributors for submitting to Pond5 or Alamy or being excited about their earnings there, just because these agencies aren't eaning me any noteworthy amount of money. I understand that, what works for them, might not work for me and the other way around. If you make fun of people for being excited about "earning pennies" just because that's all you earn there and automatically assume it must be the same for everyone else, the joke is really on you.
I don't earn pennies on isuck because I ditched them years ago when they introduced their exciting news in 2017
Then why the spiteful remark about people who are excited about their earnings? Makes you sound like you see that others still make good money with an agency you ditched and now are bitter about losing out on money.
Bitter? Why no. Because some people made a stand against this agency crap of pennies and sub pennies unlike some others who help support the abuse, reduction in earnings and then have the temerity to crow about how great it is
It's great that you were in a position to make a stand against agencies whos policies you don't agree with. But please don't look down on others who aren't in such a position and don't expect of them to fight your fight. As I said above, for me iStock is helping me paying my rent. I am not in a position where I can just say "oh, I will ditch iStock or Shutterstock because they are hurting my pride", because then I am losing a great part of my income and actually won't be able to pay my rent. So, to those people who just do this for fun or make such great amounts of money from Microstock that ditching 12 agencies doesn't hurt their livelihood, that's great! But many people are not in such a position. I am certainly not.
Yeah I use my stock earning to pay the rent and buy food to so don't assume I'm some dilletant using the cash to buy geegaws. I used the money caring for my house bound dying mother for two years until she died in 2020. Ditching those scumbag agencies only resulted in a drop of $1000 per year and earnings are stable to this day as I invested more time in Rights Managed and uploading to better agencies. "don't expect of them to fight your fight." I don't expect anyone to fight my fights but I would have thought it was in everyones interest for everyone to fight the good fight" I dropped those agencies in support of everyone just like we did with Dollar Photo Club. But hey ho here we are with all the big agencies dicking contributors and it will carry on until there is no rent money

Where are you submitting now?
Not istock, not shitterstock, not 123rf, not Envato, not Bigstock, and not Deposit photos Compared to 12 years ago when I submitted to 16 agencies I only submit to four now. Some like Veer and GL died an un-natural death of their own accord

Has anyone been able to contact these people? They went down with 400+ of my vector images and over $250 in sales. And i have been trying to get them to pay since October of 2020. I'm sure it's a lost cause but a "hey, heads up would of been nice." Thanks
They closed everything and took our money
