General Stock Discussion / Re: Exploring going exclusive while remaining non-exclusive with current portfolios« on: March 17, 2019, 10:46 »
Dreamstime and pixta are "photo" exclusive not the whole photographer exclusive such as in Istock. But it is a waste of time since they don't sell a lot (DT and pixta). I would remain non exclusive unless your iS portfolio is making more than 70-80% of your general microstock income.

I tried the free month and I liked it a lot. The graphs are kind of outdated but complete. They obtain the access through a Chrome or Firefox extension as far as I know

Dreamstime.com / Re: Megapixl.com by Dreamstime« on: March 16, 2019, 16:02 »
Mine are in megapixl too but so far I have earned between 0.24 and 0.35 per download. Except when they use credits or the picture it's exclusive. (1-2 usd). Not sure if they came from megapixl

General Stock Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about the duplicates and different colors?« on: March 15, 2019, 07:18 »
There should be a strong reason why you shoot the same thing from different angles and with different colors. Most of my port is diverse, but I have uploaded between 3-4 pictures with this kind of "similarity", but totally justified. Recently I uploaded a picture with more variations, and people seem to buy different perspectives, but I think it's because I actually make them look different even if the subject is the same. What I want to say is that you can shoot the same "subject" from different perspectives but make sure you tag them differently (provide different concepts?) and also that they also look different.
My example was a lab reagent, in some pictures it was held by a hand, in others only the bottle, in others, colorful lab background, in others focused on the label, etc. 210

Adobe Stock / Re: How to search own portfolio for specific images to edit keywords« on: March 12, 2019, 12:36 »I have to agree that's the only good thing about DP.It's a top request since ever. Is it too hard for a big tech company like Adobe to put that? Event depositphotos.com has itDP is one of the most contributor friendly sites concerning layout, navigation and speed. I would be happy if AS could ever accomplish half of that. Adobe! Listen! Just copy DP contributor site... not that hard 213

General Stock Discussion / Re: Bigstock Uploading Not Working.« on: March 11, 2019, 06:46 »
The problem is if you get your picture wrongly uploaded you have to write them an email to delete those photos because there is no way to do it by yourself

They are changing the contributor portal and they said they were going to stop reviewing if new material. But it is true that they have been taking like 4 months in that software makeup... Too long!

What I think is that they must already understand the whole panorama of accepting or not editorial photos and they are postponing the choice. It is impossible that they are so blind about that.

Adobe Stock / Re: Editorial Video in Adobe?« on: March 06, 2019, 09:21 »I'm talking about photos that contain non released property or people and also with trademarks. That would be a good thing for AS. Specially when AS Latinamerica is making a huge effort in marketing (I follow them on social media), they need to realize that many Central and South American countries are not "covered" in terms of trademarks or street photos with non released people/property. I sell a lot of those pictures in SS and iS, even if I'm not a professional.Indeed. We are not talking about newsworthy stuff just non released people and property. Also trademarks. That sells a lot in SS... Not sure about video or "newsworthy" assets. Enviado desde mi ALP-L29 mediante Tapatalk 225
