Someone's been day drinking...
Thank you for your positivity and joy in your words.
It takes smiles like yours. Even if you have to tense every muscle in your body, pretend!
Smile.
Today you must start a new project, that project that you have always had in your head.
Today is your day.
Hug friend. I know laughing is not in fashion, pretend !! Lives.
It's because of the cortisone in the blood. Today is your day. Have fun.
Hormones are sent by your brain, pretend, but start smiling. You will soon see that smiling costs you less.
Don't let your mind manipulate you with the past and stress you out with the future. Live the present, the here and now.
sarcastic tripe I agree with Clair Voyant you need to keep off the happy juice or drugs.

I'm in a very similar position to Bad Robot, though Mum didn't die through medical incompetence. rpd on iStock just hit an all-time low. Not worth getting out of bed to make images for $1.05 average. Still in lockdown here. Good news: remembered - again - how to turn off notifications from Getty about Creative Briefs and whatever they call their 'requests'.
I'm finding my 'joy in small things', but they're not relevant to this forum.
I'm sorry to hear that Sue Its been a bad year and I really can't stand idiots lecturing everyone how we should all think happy clappy thoughts and all will be well. I removed my original comment as I didn't think I need to justify to the OP why life is tough. They're typical of the type that likes to preach and think their happy clappy BS is going to solve all the world's problems. Its simplistic and trite nonsense

OK, I "Ignore"d all the garbage posters on this forum now. Maybe they are the same people I ignore on Shutterstock forum but different username. lol I just hope they ignore me as well and stop stalking me like obsessed wackos.
" You are ignoring this user. Show me the post." There you go all happy now

I wish there's a block/ignore function on this forum. All those useless garbage posters who hate me but follow me like obsessed stalkers.
There is an ignore function on this forum You think so called "useless garbage posters who hate me but follow me like obsessed stalkers" Well have you ever thought that your constant posts are just annoying and preaching to the choir? You attitude smacks of Narcissistic personality disorder? https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/narcissistic-personality-disorder/symptoms-causes/syc-20366662

Can we expect your quantity of posts to decrease once your suspension is lifted on the SS forums? And how long have we got left to go... just out of interest?
It'll be a very high pace. So, hold your breath. If you don't like it, just put me on your ignore list. I have a few annoying and hostile people on ignore list already, but they keep commenting on my posts somehow. I don't understand them. What's your Shutterstock username?
So why aren't you on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin or Youtube bawling this? It would be more productive than preaching to fellow contributors who already know the score?

They are incapable of meaningful conversation nor starting a meaningful thread. They are like flies. Go away!!
Well you know what they say about flies buzzing around poop

I've never mentioned about Ukrainian housewives. It's those unproductive members of forum who are somehow having fun talking about crap. Those posters have nothing to offer. Just some useless mob.
Yes we know you didn't ~ go have a lie down

Anyone else having issues with the GL site not loading?
I'm just getting a blank page
Me too. It has been a nightmare getting payout from them for a year or so the writing was on the wall. I am guessing they are done.
No great loss I hadn't had a sale since the site was sold 2 years back. A shame they walked away with the $38 in my account.

Check you updated your tax forms.
Other than that as Firn says there was a glitch in the payments system for January.
February earnings should start arriving around March 7th.
Other than that make sure your payment details are still yours and that your account hasn't been hacked and altered.

Just got a warning from Shutterstock. I was phasing out of the forum anyway after un-licensing my portfolios there recently. So, whatever. Good luck to all who are still with Shutterstock.
Whilst I understand your obvious anger (as most of us are also angry) with what shittysucks have done I think your constant posts on their forum will earn you a lifetime ban sooner or later, and also you stand a good chance of having your account closed too. Shystersticks really don't like open criticism and get quite pissy with their detractors.

The way to spot it is if the email sender's address has no relation to Zoonar
I got an email yesterday but deleted it as I no longer have a Zoonar account and the email address had nothing to do with Zoonar.

Well thank you for your snark I'm glad you found it because I couldn't from their weblink

Just unlicensed my video and photo portfolio on Shutterstock (again). Moved all my editorials to Pond5 exclusive account to get 60% royalty, not $3 on 4k video sale on Shutterstock video sub. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but already having the best sales day of February on Adobe Stock today. It's likely to become the best sales day of the year on Adobe Stock at this pace. Feeling good. You can always turn your portfolio back on after a month on Shutterstock to see what happens and if it's worth it.
on again off again... why? if you are that unsure of yourself then keep the images and videos on Shutterstock so you can feel the burn each and every time you make a sale that does not even cover the costs to power your computer to see if you made a sale or close your account and be thankful you don't support an operation like Shutterstock.
I'm free to do whatever I want to do. And just in case Shutterstock change their way back to it was before, it's unwise to delete contents and close account. I have 15,000 video clips and 6,000 photos. It's stupid to upload and tag all over again just in case Shutterstock changes back to how they were.
You should remember this quote "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodilehoping it will eat him last. Sir Winston Churchill, Reader's Digest, December 1954. Seriously do you think SS will ever change the system back? I think thats why you keep making these announcements on their forum in the vain hope SS will actually say "whoa BLVDone has deleted their portfolio! Quick we better pay more!" Buddy they aren't listening to you or any contributor the system they have now will never change back. Your only choice is either take the hit or remove your portfolio. There's plenty of idiots out there willing to take 10 cents or 1 cent to keep uploading their stuff.

I reactivated my account in autumn but dont upload new stuff. But I now only have 0.10 sales and I am thinking about completely shutting down my account now.
Its not the new level structure but those 10 cent sales which make me really angry. Probably time for real action and a complete shutdown of my acount.
My concern was those sub $5 video sub sales were negatively affecting my overall video sales from other sites like Adobe Stock and Pond5. I could've made $25-120 on those $3 video sub sales instead. Yesterday, right after I unlicensed my portfolio on Shutterstock, I had the best sales day of this year on Adobe Stock. It may not be a coincidence. Plus, it just feel good not seeing those disrespectful and insulting cheap royalty sales reports on Shutterstock everyday. I moved all my editorial clips to Pond5 exclusive account to get 60% royalty.
Why do you feel it necessary to repeat yourself over and over. Seriously we get it. And your Adobe uptick will just be a coincidence.

After 30 days or so, it automatically resets to ACTIVE.
Nope. I unlicensed from July to December last year.
you are wrong "blvdone", this regulation is "new",was introduced when many had deactivated until December
The last I read was that shitterstock didn't allow deactivated portfolios to be reactivated within 30 days. So I think you got that wrong
