Hi Lee, it seems that new FTP uploads (from January) dont even get imported anymore...? At least they are not visible on the "Your Portfolio" site. Is that a bug? Or is it a feature?

The link does not appear to work but if you go to the top of that page and click on Tools you will find it.

Thats the earnings statistics of a single photographer. I believe his user name here is oboy. It has nothing to do with market share. Very badly researched article

Probably they messed up the reporting once again but will take another couple of days/weeks/months to acknowledge the fact...

http://ezmediart.com/?aff=7677 is offering 99% at the moment and 70% in general.
99% ? They must really need new stuff... Did anyone sell anything here?
0 Sales for me. But according to a newsletter they wanted to start an advertising campaign in December. And the TO didnt ask for a site that sells, he wants to point his buyers there.

Funny thing is, if this would happen at FT or DP or IS there would be an outrage and an instant call for boycott... but this being DT - who are still considered a "fair" agency by many - nobody seems to care...

Sadly, you are all wrong. Its a CREDIT sale, not a subscription. And it has nothing to do with taxes either.
I got the following reply from support: "It all depends of how much the client spent per credit. It is possible to have acquired credits at a discounted rate." In this case the buyer apparently paid 49 cent per credit.

During November I had the grand total of 5 images approved... There are hundreds of older uploads sitting in my queue (and hundreds of newer uploads as well). There doesnt seem to be any system behind it. Maybe Lee can give us an insight?

So I guess it's not that hard to introduce youself? You are Randy Mckown: "I'm the founder of PIXYLOO & a professional photographer based out of the United States."
...based out of the United States? Where?
http://www.dreamstime.com/fotoeye75_info
For those who didn't understand my point! I'm just wondering why the owner of a new agency is lying he's based out of the United States in his profile on PIXYLOO! I can't trust him and won't upload my portfolio!
maybe you should brush up your English before you make unfounded accusations...

123rf, canstock, indivstock, photodune, kozzi
All okay and without any need to choose category or similar work. Worth to upload? I don`t know. I sell in as many ways as possible.
Have you sold ANYTHING on indivstock?

Great, if you post complete nonsense its a "great post"... And if you point out some of the flawed "arguments" you get multiple "disagree" votes...
Facts dont count much on this forum...

Dallas, the only thing that counts is whether u make money there . if u do, what others say is not important. also, if everyone hates fotolia...means less ppl submit their work to them. if that means u earn more there, who cares?
In virtual world of anonimity on forums- yes, you are right. But, in real world, in your town, in your neighborhood, among your friends and people you live with - do you really live this way? Not caring about anybody, just going for money? I know you don't. It's just that these internet world made us tell stupidities.
I'm not going to give up income just because my neighbor says it would br good for him. And I'm not anonymous. I would tell you the same thing to your face.
Nobody's asked you, or anyone, to give up income only because it's good for them. We've boycotted DPC because it's good for everyone. You included.
It's not good for me. I'm an adult, and I know what's best for me. FT accounts for about 10 percent of my monthly stock income.
Hmmph. It turns out you are actually even more stupid than I gave you credit for. Just the sort of contributor that DPC hoped, but probably never believed, it could really find. Enjoy your 3% earnings from them! They'll certainly be appreciating the 97% they take from your sales.
I wonder who is the stupid one here It seems you are confusing DPC (Dollar Photo Club) with DP (Depositphoto). DP are the ones paying only 3%. So you boycott DPC without knowing why - or for the wrong reasons - or because you just didnt think for yourself but just did what others were telling you to do...

The poll is for the month of September 2014! Im no "stock genius" but in September my RPI was > 40c. And that wasnt even the highest RPI/month this year. August was much lower though but as a matter of fact I only had 3 months this year with an RPI lower than the supposed average of 28c. There's something seriously wrong with the results when nearly 50% of voters are claiming more than 40c per image/month ... which itself is nearly 50% higher than Shutterstock's declared average.
Even Sean said he's only generating about 60c per image/month (in a previous thread) so we must have some absolute stock geniuses voting in the poll.
It does seem a bit unlikely that these numbers are true. People like Sean and Rob make many times more than the average contributor here with an average number of images yet they have RPIs lower than 30 or 40% of the respondents? It's not adding up.

German is NOT an international language
Historically speaking, English is just a German dialect... The Angles and the Saxons brought their language with them when they conquered Britain (which was Celtic at that time).

As cobalt said, Fotolia would be the no1 choice of the big agencies.
But there are many more German agencies besides Panthermedia: Zoonar Shotshop Pitopia Clipdealer Bildunion Coverpicture ...

Do you sell photos or illustrations? And how large is your portfolio?
Photos, with the occasional illustration made up of photos. The statistic I like to look at is total return per accepted image per year. From 2010-2013 at CS this has ranged from $0.24 to $0.32 - not great, but much better than BS which was $0.08 to $0.16 and not much behind FT at $0.18-$0.41. Of course, none of those are very good compared to SS, where total return per accepted image per year has ranged from $1.83 in 2010 to $2.33 last year and so far this year is slightly higher.
Stated another way, I have made from $24 to $32 per year for every 100 images accepted at CanStock - not bad for the few extra minutes needed to submit there every year. I shoot mostly landscapes, travel and simple isolations so I assume most people do much better than that.
Thanks for sharing the data! Well, I certainly do much worse... This year I made the grand total of $27 with 700 photos... I know my portfolio is still small but I consider dropping any agency where I cant even make payout once a year.
