Everything is fine. The price is normal. Apparently buyers can already buy unlimited downloads. The author's income will depend on the number of buyers. Will shutterstock be able to create competition for such well-known stocks as envato and storybloks. It's strange that getty allowed shutterstock to do this. In general, I only support such a pricing system, but only if shutterstock can attract enough buyers for me to receive a stable profit. For example, depositphoto also has this, but I refused unlimited downloads there, because the profit was almost zero. Searching the site shows that only up to 30% of Shutterstock videos are available for unlimited subscription. It's not much, but the main thing is that these videos contain my videos!

Its 18 per month, daily download limit is 100 images, so this makes 0.003 per image at max downloads.
Where did you read about this? And why only photos, and not videos?

So far it seems to be only reported on Fox News, and we know they would never make stuff up to get gullible people to click on a link for money. On Trump's orders, the CIA is declassifying some documents. Maybe other media will also write about this, I don't know. For you, the more media write about this, the more truthful the information will be. Maybe you should read the CIA document. What do we even know about UFOs? artlist and storyblocks are tiny.
The merged business has way more than over 1 billion files and will have by far the largest editorial volume as well.
They would be as dangerous as depositphotos or dreamstime.
Also they own envato, if someone wants ultracheap subs they can offer that.
They might even prop it up with more content to make it more attractive.
I don't think the merger will affect Adobe because they sell from within photoshop, but the other tiny agencies - how will they survive against the new gorilla?
It will also make it difficult to start new agencies, unless it is highly specialized and with expensive content.
Not quite so, storyblocks accepts only authors who create content that buyers need. Moreover, storyblocks constantly deletes those videos that are not in demand. Thus, the storyblocks library contains only the videos that buyers need. Buyers can find what they need there easier and faster. There is also an editorial on storyblocks.

danielvisuals, if you upload different content to different stocks, then maybe you should become an exclusive author on Getty. With your works you will be taken there. Get very high prices when selling your videos.
It's simpler for me, I upload all my videos wherever they are accepted. It's faster for me.

How well does niche footage perform for video producers who upload to iStock?
Does iStock favor niche content, or is it more suitable for generic, high-volume clips?
I've had great success with my niche footage on Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, and pond5 where I can achieve higher-value sales. However, I'm concerned that niche content might be undervalued on iStock.
I have the impression that iStock is better suited for high-volume, generic clips, while niche footage content performs better on Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, and Pond5.
Upload all your video to ESP (iStock) and find out everything. I don't think anyone knows the answer to your question. If you sell your video by subscription, the prices on iStock will be even higher. If you have a good video, then on Getty there are sales at high prices.
