it's always better now with submission limits.
a few days ago i was reading about someone who uploads 100 contents a day, sometimes getting rejections of 90% but other times rejections of 50% or less,so in the end he gets approvals for more than a thousand contents per month, which in my opinion is too much.
it's too much because sending 100 contents a day means that these contents are poorly made, from every point of view, even from the indexing point of view, because there simply isn't enough time to create and send 100 contents a day.
Even if you use an AI for indexing, the results should be checked, because there are many errors in the generated results, and so,whoever uploads 100 contents a day only creates a big mess in the library and sends contents without actually creating anything, imo.
these limits are necessary,so I'm happy that they have finally been implemented.

this is another good move against spam.
Yes it is. And absolutely no room for racism of any sort.
But it lacks clarity. Why not just explain what's going on. Individually Pro-rated based on rejections, port quality (?), number of downloads, date when Everest was first climbed, ... Adobe is great agency and very successful, but would be even better with bit more transparency
in my opinion it is not specified because the discussion is very broad, because the limit depends on many factors and Adobe wants to have freedom of movement without specifying "limits". then as for the new approach with which Adobe relates to contributors,it sounds a little colder(at least as far as this context, this forum,is concerned) and yes,it makes me a little sad too. but,we were asking for it too, because every official announcement was always followed by countless complaints about everything,so in my opinion,we were asking for it too!

@SuperPhoto
your speech sounds a little racist.
let's just say that those who upload a lot get a lot of rejections, especially these days with the new review.
so those who upload a lot start to lower their submission limit.
this is another good move against spam.

As a supporter of upload limits,or in this case submission limits since 2023,I can only say 2 things: "finally!" and "well done!" then as for what these limits are,it seems to me from the email that i read, that depends. these limits are not the same for everyone,It depends on various factors, including rejections and overall performance.

Will they pay $10 per image every year? And what about video?
video October probably with payment in November, and September Firefly bonus...always probably! for this round i think i will select almost all the content with less than 5 sales for a year, and i will also make a small selection of perpetuals. I won't select again the content that's coming out of the free collection now, because at least as far as I'm concerned, the point of the free collection is also to get interactions for old content that otherwise stagnates.

My search for videos on Adobe Stock returns 44.020.702
then, the first AI video search returns 1.972.372
if you then scroll down and go to page 2 the search brings you back 7.164.751 AI videos, which is the total amount actually present at the moment, growing by about 2-300,000 per week from what I've seen the last few weeks.
I believe it is possible that the search may show different totals at different times of the day, because the videos shown will likely rotate and the total amount shown may vary.

I still have this last road to try,so I'd better get back to work for now, there's nothing else I can do!
Good luck, I really hope you succeed!
thank you so much! I hope your amazing sales continue!

Stocksy I think it's very difficult to be accepted, never actually tried, who knows maybe in the future but I don't think so,POD no,it's not for me.
I am 100% sure that if I don't succeed on Adobe I will give up on microstock, and with all digital content in all its forms.
I'm trying new things,in fact with these AI videos, the problem is that the review times are very long,It takes at least a month before the reviews begin, now my videos are at 17 days,in 2 weeks then they will arrive in chain.
then I'm pretty sure the problem is my portfolio, which even though it has thousands of sellable contents, needs to be cleaned up and fixed.
that's why what I'm going to do is continue to work on these videos and in the meantime I'm going to clean up my portfolio, leaving all the videos, all the content that has already been sold at least once and a small selection of content that has never been sold.
thousands of contents still need to be deleted in my opinion,at the latest by the end of the year, but probably much sooner.
then of course, once I have at least a couple thousand videos, and my portfolio sorted,if even then things don't change, then it's not up to me,and I can't do anything about it,so it will be the end.
I still have this last road to try,so I'd better get back to work for now, there's nothing else I can do!

I don't question the quality of your content or sales potential, but the main point is that you started a decade or more ago, otherwise you wouldn't be able to get these results with 700 assets.
I've got no idea why I still sell well. I was expecting the sales to drop, but they are still there. I rarely upload new content, I don't give any free content away and I've got a lot of "bad" files in my port which never sold.
those few contents accepted in the free collection of the past were among the contents that sold best, once they left the free collection... as Mat said by the way,in one of his livestreams: "it is likely that the contents accepted in the free collection will get more interactions, consequently they will be able to sell perhaps even more than others once they leave the free collection"(I don't remember the exact words but something like that) Mike..I don't know it's strange, this whole sales story is strange, mine seem like a program that repeats itself. I try to be strong and keep going, but then I see the sales and they are really too disappointing. I'm trying these videos consistently now,but will my consistent way be consistent enough? will there ever be anything that is ever substantial enough? It seems to me that here we do nothing but run, always run,but without ever getting anywhere!

exactly,that's exactly what I mean.
I don't question the quality of your content or sales potential, but the main point is that you started a decade or more ago, otherwise you wouldn't be able to get these results with 700 assets.
it's a big mess,In Discord there are people with stellar sales in value and quantity, and many others who are having their worst month or worst week.
then i just read about someone who has 3 sales a week with 350 contents, and me with 20x content compared to this person, and with 10x your content, here's my week:
this all makes absolutely no sense,it's a big mess!
However,if things don't recover,as I said,in the near future,I will reduce my portfolio, keeping only videos and all the images that I have sold at least once, plus maybe 500 at most selected from the unsold ones.

let me complain a little too, since it's been trending lately! The only thing I'm not happy at all about Adobe, which is also the most important thing, sales. since the beginning of this year it's been a complete disaster, except for April, which I managed to do a little more in terms of sales number, compared to 2024. Let's just say that I'm starting to get a little tired of seeing these sales every day: 1-1-1-0-0-2-3-0-0-4-1-1-1 but what . is this? I can understand a bad week or a bad month, but this number does not reflect at all the amount of saleable content that is in my portfolio, let's say that at least an average of 5 sales per day would be more honest, for my current portfolio. so I honestly wonder if this thing will ever change for me or not, sometimes I feel like whatever I do will never change anything. However,I have already deleted 195 content from my portfolio,in an attempt to improve the overall look. I think there will be nominations for the free collection soon,so for now I'll wait, but then I'll eliminate another 300 or so at least. all my hopes are in these videos, the work i'm doing now, however if the sales continue like this,in the end I will probably delete all the photos and leave only the videos, because if I really have to make this crappy number of sales,at least I make video sales. anyway,if things don't change soon I'm done,it all depends on how it goes with these videos.

True, I have access to all the apps, but I usually use final cut.
Once I have an established work flow , I will start learning to use after effects.
But although I do use photoshop, I could at any time go back to photoshop elements and final cut combo.
Also you never know, with the way things are going, they might have the exciting news to cut the free software.
I dont think the roulette algorithm is the end of the bad news.
Somebody at Adobe is determined to keep running into the brick wall. They will keep doing it 7ntil s9meone even hire up understands the damage this is doing.
Everything is possible, but in my opinion the contributor bonus can and will perhaps be improved. for example,if next year they decide to raise the minimum uploaded content to 500,they could also decide to give 50% off coupon codes to those who upload at least 250. so maybe those who don't expect that they had to upload at least 500 contents,at least have the possibility of having a 50% discount. in short, discount codes could also be given to those who have uploaded less or sold less, and are unable to get any free app, despite contributing to Adobe Stock. I don't think the contributor bonus will be cancelled, but certainly anything is possible.

hd is fine Cobalt, and then you have access to all the Adobe apps with the contributor bonus if I remember correctly!

maybe you should start selling less so maybe you understand that these new review favor first of all those who already earn well with images, like Cobalt, because now more than ever those who already sell well with commercial images are more difficult to reach.
and I'm talking about the review,I didn't question anything else, because I also think that there are definitely things that can be improved.
okay, you don't understand, and no one pays me to sit here trying to make you see reason,so go ahead and complain about everything, without first thinking carefully about why certain choices were made.
I have to agree with the previous comment, you express your thoughts in quite an incoherent manner, really hard to understand what are you trying to say.
ok,I'll try to be clear in some points: -with these review the spam for AI commercial images is over. -since AI spam is over, those who already have thousands of commercial images see reduced competition,if the review continued as before, the decline in sales would increase, for AI commercial images. -It's not true that Adobe no longer communicates with us,and I'm telling you this from personal experience, have you tried asking some serious questions, other than the time of the review or the rejections? If you ask serious questions about important issues,Adobe responds. -these new review, which includes removing images as has been done,as well as restricting the accepted content, although very harsh, also aim to improve the overall quality of the Adobe library, which is a benefit for everyone. then my personal opinion, certainly shared by many: given the current state,AI commercial images can only be a secondary gain, commercial images can no longer be the main dish, better produce videos, illustrative editorials, and even vectors in my opinion,at least for now. then as far as real commercial images are concerned,i don t know, the topic can be more or less the same, even if different perhaps in some points but I won't go into detail here about real commercial images, because at the moment I don't have direct experience, because I haven't produced real commercial images for some time.

It's an expensive road,AI video, they're draining me! There are many AI video models, some with certain advantages, others with others,I have used several recently...I prefer not to recommend one in particular, you should search and gain experience personally,to understand what suits you best.

I found this in the Adobe Community.
This explains a lot, here we are talking about the arrangement of pixels,if a "similar" arrangement is found the content is rejected.
so in a nutshell I really think that with AI images it is very difficult to get approval.
i think that the only way to get approved is to use a lot of generative fill,in order to create arrangements of different pixels, different faces, different things.
I think this applies to real content as well, but I'm not producing real photos at the moment, other than illustrative editorials,so I don't know,I can only rely on other experiences at the moment for real commercial images.
Anyway,I think this can clarify a few things.

---Old Post Alert---- another one has been created for all the Adobe rejections
It's interesting, though, that people already complained about rejections at Fotolia (now Adobe) almost twenty years ago.
hahaha! and if you try to say it they'll even insult you!

The more I think about it,the more I realize that these new review were the best choice.
yes,it's a bit heavy, but have you tried to reflect on the fact that previously,a smart 15 year old kid could pocket an expert and seasoned contributor in the space of a year?
yes,a 15 year old guy who registered an account for a family member, started spamming and uploaded 20-30000 contents in a year, reaching out to those who have dedicated many years to doing this job.
Now the spam is over, people are encouraged to produce only the best of the best,Adobe's library improves,we improve our ports, and we attract more customers and we all benefit.
then, these new review have just begun, and if there are any imperfections,I'm sure they will be improved.
then yes, sometimes it is heavy, especially if you are a contributor who takes an hour or more to produce an image.
However,in my opinion,in the current context it was the best choice,at least as far as AI images are concerned.
then as far as the real images are concerned I have some doubts too,but I saw some images of someone complaining about the rejections, and in all honesty, and humility, sincerely, those images that I saw really lacked in originality and general edit in my opinion, and maybe I'm wrong,I'm not an expert, but I've been producing content for 7 years anyway.
In any case,I think the reviews are better now than they were before.

But what are you talking about here? I have a portfolio of 500 illustrative editorials,600 vectors,500 videos,5000 photos and illustrations, all real. And then I have about 1500 AI photos and illustrations. Do you know how many sales I've made so far this month? 5 I repeat: 5 sales from May 1st!if this happens to you what do you do? you go to San Jose,California with a machine gun and start shooting everyone? If I were you,I'd be jumping for joy from morning till night! Many of you are luckier than you realize!

yes, that's exactly how it is. I too had submitted 4 contents of which I found maybe 1 or 2 similar ones in the adobe stock library, and yet 2 of the 4 contents were rejected. if you submit a batch of 10 contents of anything, similar or not, saleable or not, you're lucky if 5 will get approved. In my opinion, the new review are aimed first and foremost at reducing spam and reject at least half of the contents. then as a second goal imo, also improve the quality of the library and the ports, pushing people to upload only the best of the best. then imo they also took into account that many contributors would be discouraged, and it was taken into account that if someone gives up it's even better, leaving more space for producers who produce higher quality, but also give space to new contributors with fresh new ideas and new locations..new. because here the point of everything is to produce things that sell, there is no more room for huge batches and banal and repetitive contents. so yes, rejection for "similar" in my opinion has a broader spectrum. edit: I am in fact more than sure that Adobe wants to get rid of me,but unfortunately for them I can't give up!

I,on the other hand, think that there is absolutely nothing random about Adobe.
everything goes exactly the way it's supposed to.
this is my opinion.
