It depends on your state's sales tax laws.  In Minnesota, for images that are sold and delivered electronically, no sales tax needs to be collected.

Cut and Paste (Control V) into Filezilla works for me.  I just added this API key a few days ago.

I realize this is an old thread, but I wanted to publicly thank Bob for his review.   I recently purchased the Lowepro Flipside Sport 15L and used on our trip to Southern Utah.  The pack worked great and would definitely recommend it.

Based on SS quarterly report (http://finance.yahoo.com/news/shutterstock-reports-third-quarter-2012-211100388.html), for the third quarter the average contributor should have gotten about 86 downloads for every 100 images (based on the reported 18.7 millions downloads with 21.7 million images on-line) in their portfolio for the 3 months ending September 30th.

The SS report does not break down the downloads for different media types, but it does give some insight as to how many downloads an "average" contributor might see.

BME.

Earnings by Site best to worst.

IS - BME by a lot.
SS - BME barely.
Veer - Good solid month.
123rf - BME. Nice upward trend here.
DT - Solid, but lots of subs.
FT - Steady.
Canstock - Good solid month.
Deposit - BME, upward trend.
BigStock - OK

How about a back-handed compliment.  The P+ program is preventing my earnings from falling quite so fast.

I took the survey

disambiguation, tips, ... all good but with 20+ sites I am afraid we don't have the time to choose keywords for any specific site - I try to do my best at IPTC level and then just click submit, this is my ideal keywording experience: less is more

FWIW, my daughter has had images from a D40 using a kit lens accepted a istock using Capture NX2 for image processing.

I don't know where dreamstime states its editorial rules, but I can tell you I have had high school, college, and pro sports images accepted as well as a few marching band parade images.

Pixart,

Can you tell me why you are switching from smugmug to zenfolio?  I am considering setting up a smugmug or zenfoilio site to sell actions shots taken at youth sporting events.  If you or anyone else has any experience in this area I would love to hear your opinions.

Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up on this.  Interesting, but like you said not real surprising what keywords are used.

I have a Nikon 18-70 DX lens that I bought used.  I use it a lot on my D90.  It gets pretty good reviews (see below).  Apparently it was a kit lens for the D70.

Does anyone think the current Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover would be rejected for lighting if it as submitted to microstock sites?
