I know about the thread, thanks. Just checked and saw, there are more with the same issue. So I guess, the problem is not at my end. Let's wait and see and produce some more in the meantime

I have to bring up this topic again, as I have no clue what's going on. Everything was fine until Monday. Now I am unable to set up a proper connection to the ss server.
I always receive the following messages:
Status: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS (in black) Command: my username (in blue) Response: 331 Password required for my username (in green) Command: PASS ***************** (in blue) Response: 530 Login incorrect (in green) Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server (in red)
I didn't touch the settings. Sent a message to SS support, so far no response, maybe, hopefully someone here has an idea to help me out.
Thanks in advance,
Rob

I am usually with Jo Ann when it comes to CanStock. But I had, too, a nice surprise just last week. $51 for one DL, woman on a playground sitting on a swing. Nothing extraordinary - and still a success. Who'd have thought!

Being from Perth (Stockbo is based here), I met two of the "directors' just once. Nice young guys, full of enthusiasm and positive attitudes. But I had my doubts regarding their business strategy, which I told them. We couldn't agree on that. Fair enough. Nevertheless, I offered them my support, even as a reviewer. Never got back to me. But I guess, that our understanding of what is acceptable or not would have been too far apart, anyway.
Instead, my images were left in the queue for ages, some of the few accepted ones received a postponed NO and had been removed from the portfolio after all. Confusing, annoying, disappointing. That was the last time I logged in back again. Maybe I should there might be some sales I don't know off

Did my bit. Opted out all of my +1600 images.

In our 'class action' some time ago I deleted out of protest almost my entire (small) portfolio from IStock, with 10 images left. I hardly earned a thing, especially not around September and October. However, IStock is deducting $11.70 over the next six months - which is MORE than I actually made with them during the "overpaid" period

Good news after all. Thanks for the reply. I received your mail. Catcha

I am waiting for a reply for about six weeks now. The account for the site is disabled ( http://stockbo.com/). And the mobile phone is not available at the moment... Looks like Stockbo is finished before it even started. I might go around the next days and check, if the office is still there (I am living just 10kms away). Let you know.

It doesn't really help you when I tell you, too, that I have been paid as usually. The best thing is always to get in contact with the support team. I am sure they can sort it out.

But even my reset leaves me with the wrong ticks. I went from Exclusive, No Extended Licence and Free Images to Non Exclusive, No Extended Licence and Free Images. If Fotolia does expect me to change the setting for every single image now, I rather spend my time with something else.

Hi Folks,
For several months now I can't display my Image Gallery Stats in order of purchase. All I get is a message telling me "None of your photos have been downloaded from a 25-A-Day subscription". But that is obviously not the topic here.
I have contacted support twice over the time (last contact 7th August). Twice I received the answer: "This is a known bug to us. We are working on it to solve it." Nothing happened, yet.
I wonder if it is really a general problem and more members have the same issue or am I the only one and SS doesn't bother to fix it. I couldn't find any discussion about it here at MSG, though.
The Image Gallery Stats are not essential but a nice feature, especially to see the trends in sales.
Regards, Rob

I wouldn't really care how long it takes for SS to review my new stuff, as long as they sell my portfolio. And that's what they doing pretty well. And that's what counts at the end of the day (or month).

You are probably right. One of the keywords is 'girl', rather meant to describe a young woman than a child. But the combination with 'sexy' might be inappropriate. Agreed.
Thanks

I know I would get you No, but seriously: I was just uploading a new batch of images, two of them showing a woman in high heel shoes posing outdoors. One of the keywords is 'sexy'. You get more than a million results for the search 'sexy woman' on Shutterstock, some of them are mine. So it had worked before. And why shouldn't it, as long as it is an appropriate description!? But obviously not anymore! The system didn't make 'sexy' redundant, I had to delete the word before proceeding. Is this a new policy? And if, since when? And why? And even more interesting, are there more keywords we used to use and are now banned? Did you have similar experiences? Regards Rob

Sadly I missed out on the big sale... might not have the right portfolio... still my BME though!
But congrats to all the lucky ones. Enjoy your payday!

Congratulations Gillian!
When did you apply? I sent my request about six weeks ago. Don't know if I should hold up my hopes or take the long time with no response as a 'NO'.
Regards
Rob

Had my first sale after one week and was surprised about just 25% royalties - now I know why! So, hopefully it won't take too long anymore to finalise the merger.

Seems to be some trouble. Uploaded only 5, which don't come up as unfinished. Better wait till they fixed the problem before I continue.

Thanks for the link and info, Rob. Not a big surprise, though. I'll keep my fingers off FB and others who think they can stand above law.

Well, I was and still am a little bit disappointed about the high amount of rejections (only 60 per cent acceptance quote for me, the worst of all agencies). So I don't put too much effort into Veer. But then on the other hand, Veer gives me the highest RPD of all agencies (more than 3$). Compared to CS or DP I make with only a fifth of the images three times more money. Unfortunately no steady DLs for me, but big surprises ever so often, which gives me the motivation to upload fifty images more... in the end, it's not more than pocket money, unless you have a huge portfolio.
Anyway, good luck for your third application.

Started uploading there on the weekend, the first batch has been accepted today, so quite reasonable. The more interesting question is, how long it takes to sell the first licences

Compared to my BME December 2012: 10% more downloads, but around the same income. By far more subscriptions than December, especially at SS, with 5% more downloads but 16% less income. On the other hand a nice surprise by Veer, thanks to a few extraordinary good sales ended up in my Top 3.
More detailed:
ss 42,5% 0949 images BME DLs dt 15,5% 1884 images BME DLs ft 08,5% 0807 images BME DLs is 07,7% 0011 images BME RPD 123 06,7% 0900 images BME DLs but lowest RPD ever cs 02,9% 1434 images dp 02,0% 1155 images v 13,5% 0284 images BME RPD sf 00,3% 0639 images
Overall a good start into 2013.

Done my bid. 25 deleted. Just a small port here, so not much more possible. But every single one counts.

Brilliant! We couldn't put it in better words... there is always a lot of truth in a Freudian slip like this one.
