Yes, hosting company gives server space. You can place all images and site files there and assign to it domain name (you can buy it also from godaddy).
Some people use godaddy hosting and it works for them, so it should be ok, but maybe wait a bit for someone with account there. BTW, Godaddy offers linux and windows hosting, for symbiostock linux is better.

Global Symbiostock Search at symbiostock.info can be used as a source of data. Developers can use it, for example, in smartphone applications or plugins. Search results are returned as XML files, compatible with data format used by all Symbiostock sites for network communication (and thats why every Symbiostock site can display network results from symbiostock.info). More info here: http://ajotte.com/global-search-api/

Why are you deleting images and uploading them again? If file is missing from symbiostock_rf, have a look at thumbnail name, for example "1088-minipic.jpg". Then use ftp to upload big file to symbiostock_rf folder. After uploading (or before, if you like), change its name to 1088.jpg and that's all.
Thanks for the tip. I guess that would work also if one wants to upload an improved image version without the trouble to go through the "Process" procedure.
Yes, and after that you can go to Bulk Actions->Reprocess, to make improvements visible in thumbnail and preview.

Try Total Commander (command "synchronize dirs" ).

When your site is displaying network results, these results are stored in symbiostock_xml_cache for future use. Search for something - if results are shown (almost) immediately, they probably were already in cache. If results are not in cache, site has to get them from your network friends, and it takes few seconds. Once got and displayed, results go to cache, so next search for the same item displays results much faster. Older files are deleted from cache once a day, so there are only results not older than number of days defined in Symbiostock->Network page (" days cache network search" under list of network sites).

No need for 2 accounts really.. I had just upgraded my personal account..
so now, its like 1 account for all purposes..
I have 2 accounts, personal and business. I tried to receive payments from stocks to business account, but Paypal charged some % from every payment. Now all payments from agencies go to personal account, and business account is only for my Symbiostock site.

Run ftp connection and go to folder wp-content/plupload/uploads. Maybe there is a problematic file with weird name or somehow corrupted. Delete it. Leave only upload.php and .htaccess. You can also enter tmp folder and make it empty. Then try to upload again. If page uploader doesn't work, you can use ftp and put files into wp-content/plupload/uploads, then process them.

You can move them, but you should do it every time after any change, like new uploads, editing images etc, so this is no solution.

Problem with this site is that it was installed in /blog folder, but somewhere in wodpress config, site address was set to /. Now some functions use address with /, and others with /blog. Files symbiocard.csv and symbiostock_image_info.xml were generated and look ok, but they are located in /blog folder. I don't know what to do with it...

How/why would a problem with someone else's site affect mine ?
Your site (every Symbio site with active network) from time to time fetches symbiocards from network sites, and symbiocard from stockabily is invalid, instead of data, contains that text about server error. Probably you have installed something (plugin?) that gets some data from symbiocards of your networked sites, to display something on your home page or save to file for statistics, I don't know. It gets weird data and crashes.

Basically when someone searches a site it has a prompt that there is a central search engine, and how many images are available.
Symbiostock.info has symbiocard with portfolio size, which in this case is a number of images in database. I can also make a file containing only number, no problem. Search engine is fetching images info from all sites every day, so now there is no need for additional functions (now). I thought about plugin (or built-in function in Symbio), giving new search option. Now is "Search Images/Blog", could be "Search Local/Global/Blog" (or sth in this kind), with possibility to switch off global and blog in config area. List of sites is growing and I should to do something with it. List them in more columns, paginate somehow, move to subpage?

It can be difficult, because "plupload" folder contains also other folders and many files in them. Maybe activate other theme, delete symbiostock theme, and install it again, uploading symbiostock.zip file, then activate. All folders should be created...

According to Bluehost it's there but now there are two folders in it. One called "2013" and another called "symbiostock_rf_content" which appears to have all of my files.
2013 and symbiostock_rf_content are in "uploads", but the missing folder is plupload and contains another folder "uploads", where uploaded files should go.

It means that for some reason /wp-content/plupload/uploads/ folder is missing. Try to activate default Wordpress theme, then activate Symbiostock theme again.

I never noticed any lines or banding on my screen, so maybe it was fixed in the GD library or present only in certain situations.
If you have something isolated on pure white (FFFFFF), then resized (by GD) images, like thumbnail, preview and every image sent to buyer (below large, which is not touched by GD), have horizontal lines containing FDFDFD pixels. It is almost invisible and easily removable. Other images, with no white background, maybe are affected too, but color change is below noise level.

It was only to be sure, that curl module is working as expected (it is used during paypal transaction too). Network results are shown, so it is ok.
