Yes, Everything. 
I hate when people say they don't.  Post-processing has been a main step of photography since the beginning of photography. It used to be done in the darkroom or the color lab , sometimes with the help of airbrushing, now we perform these steps in a digital darkroom.  It's not cheating,  just making sure that your work looks the best it can.

Dump the rating system.  If I want a critique of my work, I'll ask.

Agreed..... Hopefully other sites that allow this option will follow.

Just started (October) shooting with the 5D and my 20D as a back-up.

...... Love the extra working room I get in my home studio w/ the full sensor.  I also never see noise anymore.... going up to even 200+ iso.  I'm also getting much sharper images and the 5D seems to work much better with the ttl on my 580ex. 
  I love this camera

I agree with everything said here.  I just upgraded to the 5D from the 20D. I've never had a rejection for poor sensor, distorted pixels, fringing ect. ect.  In the right light I can shoot iso 400+ with very little noise. 

I know that there has been alot of threads out recently about people congratulating themselves for being able to get a decent shot with a point n shoot, but if you want to be serious about this business than you also need a DSLR.  It will save you alot of time in PS as well.  (And you can quit looking silly w/ that monopod)

I have not had any problems w/ istock.  I have only been uploading there a couple of months, but I am submitting a few every week & enjoying a high approval rating.

I feel your pain though.... StockXpert does the same thing to me .

To me the site seems pretty unpredictable in everything ~ payouts, security, rejections, support and answering the concerns of their contributors on the forums.  But I do make a little
$$ from them every month so I guess I'll stick in there.  Good luck & don't take it too hard.

Really guys,  this is a normal thing.  Depending on the usage he requires pixelbrat can end up making MORE money (also this is not "cheating" on istock)  just make sure that you get your cash up front and present your client with the correct contract and usage agreement.  I have actually called on a good friend who is more knowing in these areas to come shed some light on the situation and calm all your fears. You should see his reply today.

Agreed,   I have also sold my images in this way and not (gasp!) only through microstock.  lol There is nothing to be alarmed or worried about as long as you get your $$ up front and the buyer understands that this is not an exclusive sellout.

I'm so tired of hearing about this crap.......  these people are nothing but a bunch of whiners.  I also pay a mua,  models and location fees.  And yes I am making a living at this , well thanks to my husband working~lol   But, I am seeing my earnings rise every month with continued hard work, and able to help w/ a large portion of our bills while having my own spending $$ as well.

   I feel so sorry for these "artists" that now they have to produce 60 images from a shoot instead of 10. (are you kidding me?)  It's the technology age, deal with it.  Work harder instead of crying about something your not going to change.

This is probably right in front of my face.... I just moved up to the bronze level at Fotolia & am wondering how to increase the price for my EL's ? I hoping there is a way to universally change them all at once and not have to do every file one at a time.... Thanks in advance!

I used to review for dreamstime......  I'm pretty sure that this would not be allowed by most sites for thier reviewers as you usually have to sign a confidentiality waiver.
