Last year one of my vectors was nominated and picked for the free images collection, from what I understand if the image is free again this year I would be paid again for it, but that free vector is still free and I did not receive any money for it. So what gives?

On the dashboard there used to be an option where you can choose to show images in the order of date uploaded. Did they remove that option because I can't find it now. All I see is an option to choose by tier, whatever that is.

Though I did receive my final payment without any problem, I have had trouble getting my earnings from them in the past. You need to keep bugging them about it, I told them I would file a complaint with the BBB and eventually I did get my money
How did you contact CanStock? I would like they paid me some money!
I contacted them through support while they were still up and running. They responded at the beginning then they ignored me but I still kept at it, threatening to file a complaint at the BBB. Don't stop bugging them until you get your money. I think Duncan has an account here, you can try sending him a pm.

Who says the money is in escrow? And if we really owned it DT would have a legal obligation to pay it out if we close our account

Redbubble is the only place I know of that will pay you whatever is in your account at the end of the year even if the minimum has not been reached, which I think is pretty decent of them

I agree $100 is much too high especially when the majority of downloads are .35 I think $50 would be much fairer. We may have agreed to the terms but how many of us would think it would take so long to reach payout? In three years I'm up to $87and it doesn't look like I'm going to reach $100 any time soon. And I think it is wrong and maybe even unethical not to pay accumulated earnings to those who want to close their account.

My accepted pics take days to show up in my port, it's been this way for quite a while. Sometimes their upload is kind of wonky too

You're not better at PayPal either. They just raised some fees as well. Got a letter not too long ago stating the increase in fees. Not sure if its just for us unfortunate Canadians. Over here we get taxed to death over here for everything. Probably for breathing too. ☹️

When you withdraw USD from Paypal to a Canadian bank account, other than the poor conversation rate, are there any other fees that I am not aware of?
Not sure. Sorry. All I know is that if our account is not used for so long, they charge us a fee. New fee is for use with some kind of transaction card. I'm surprised you didn't get the Policy change notice. They stated the new fee in that updated contract policy. Sorry I'm not much help.
When I get around to it I can always post some of the notice here or you can find it at PayPal I guess.
As far as I know there are no other fees to transfer out money but I just transferred $200 USD into my Canadian bank and got $258.82 CAD. When I did a conversion using one of those online converters I should have received $268 CAD. So Paypal took for itself $10 Never heard of Paypal charging a fee for not using the account. The new card fees I believe have to do with customers paying with a credit card

Where are you seeing this? As far as I know it was always set by default to the currency of your country. When I signed up with paypal years ago my first payment in USD was converted into CAD, I had to manually change my primary currency to USD to stop the auto conversion of USD deposits. I just now logged in to see if anything changed but my primary currency is still in USD although I'm in Canada.

Yes they are shutting down, just got an email from Canstockphoto saying that they will cease operations as of Oct. 1 2023 and contributors have until Sept. 30 to request payout.
I'm sorry to see them go, sales there didn't happen often but they paid better than the other microstock sites I'm on. The email also said that payment could take several months. Don't know why it should take that long
