It could backfire!

Think about it from a buyers perspective for a minute.

A buyer goes and looks at the chit you have and then uses WOM to spread it around that you do crap and have nothing good of any use to any of them and then they start to stay away from your port because you now have a bad rep from WOM from a new search???

It is possible.

No such thing here.

Seen screen shots of it but that means nothing because I have had unusual screen shots I saved that turned out to be nothing.

Everyone has been talking about it all day long and nothing on the server I am on has changed.

Probably someone messing with the servers.

Since you are getting your ten together I would suggest no shadows at all!

Do Isolated or dont do it at all.

After you are in then try the on white with some shadows because as a newbie I think any shadow no matter how light will get you a lighting rejection.

And post what you have ready to go on the SS critique / tops / tricks forum so we can help you make sure you get it right so you wont have to wait.

And Jens you know that SS makes their own rules so the 75 years means nothing to them.

In many countries copyright expires 75 years after a mans death.
So you have to find out when the designer died.
This is from 1928:

You live this so you have a good idea what's gonna happen when and where!

Same with NASCAR.

In dollars this one, but it's not up on Microstock.  8)

Sure go ahead and make a similar concept, feel free. (ps News Editorial, that's why I didn't edit the fence intrusion on the right side. Honest photo)

I know no one is going to believe that I planned to get this shot in advance. But being in the right place and guessing where something might happen is as good as I can claim.

Focus and sharpness is not the same.

A photograph can be in focus and yet not appear very sharp. That would be the case with low contrast textures, such as clouds, water or with a rubber balloon.
Another photo can appear sharp, because of the physical textures, such as hair, and would appear even sharper if the light produces micro contrasts.

Not true because it can also be classified as a hobby.

Just because you sell something, that in itself does not make it a business.

Anyone who does this as a hobby does it as just that and has no business license or business account.

Anyone who does this as a business has a license, possibly an LLC, a place where they conduct their business and have a business account for such at the bank.

A simple rule of thumb:
A business you make money, with a hobby you spend money.

If your activities have produced a profit for 3 of the past 5 years, you may presume it is for profit and is a "business"

Lots of people make money with their hobbies and are not a business just because they sell something.

The fact that we dont make much doesnt change the fact is business. We are selling something, even if its for cents and dimes, and so its a business transaction.

Scott, thank you.

Quick question, can you comment on why people see their personal most successful image drop in their portpolio popular sort and images that haven't sold or not sold nearly as much surpass the most successful image in ones portfolio.

Thanks again.

Hi Ron,

It would be very difficult to answer something like this, because the algorithms are very complex; we run many different tests; and we see millions of searches.   Anecdotal claims in the forums are very hard to track down - to understand what's going on, you would need to isolate all of the attributes of the image, the keyword that was searched, whether the image was in a test, etc...

As mentioned, the goal of all of this is to drive customer success, which ultimately delivers more downloads across the board and more royalties.  It's easy (and understandable!) to worry about one image's specific search placement for a popular keyword search, but across all images and all searches, the net result is continuous improvement.

Best,

Scott

This applies to the texting laws as well.

If you are in an accident, one of the first things that a bright lawyer will do is subpoena your phone records.

I do not see any reason why, sooner or later, the state would not do the same. Given that the cell tower data, your metadata etc provides a permanent record.
All this info is private and can only be subpoenaed with "probable cause" and just cause you were in an accident that does not give anyone "probable cause" so they can not get your records they are protected.

They already get all of the car info from the on board computers and that is all they need.

They can tell if you were accelerating, braking, turning, wearing a seat belt or not, listening to the radio etc.

Saw the one about the Lady who was caught with them on recently but there is no way to prove they were turned on and case dropped.

This is going to become a common occurrence everywhere.

Thing is if you dont over the glasses to the police they have no evidence of any type and then they have to get a warrant to confiscate them but then then need probable cause which they dont have so they still have no case.

This applies to the texting laws as well.
