Leo, about my site indexing we were in email contact last year. You couldn't help more so I drop this thread. Images are not indexing in Google, except few images from front site. Anything (pictures) in gallery is not working in Google. Few files that are visible are here thanks to linking to Alamy or FAA... Or you can see miniatures... but not my images on sale page. Everybody else's sites are working, only mine has that problem...

Here is link to FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1413060825613141/?fref=tsMy question (8th Jan.) was: "Today I tried to login to forum and change my password and I've found that gmail is blocekd so I can't save new settings. What's going on here?"The only answer: "Armageddon?"

I can't login for a long time with the same reason. Noted it on FB wall but no one responds... Feels like this place is dying...

Mine used to be 100% when they first started with photos, now it is about 50% and there is no rhyme or reason to the refusals.
Last files uploaded few days ago, reviewed already, 100% approval of large batch. Nothing wrong in my case again.

They need to clean out at least 50% of the so called art/crap that inhabits SS Get some real quality in there not this Walmart stack it high sell it cheap philosophy Teddy, I think we should start giving them that "note to reviewer" when uploading new files Good point here! Ps. I have deleted a lot of old files from my port lately, they were reeeaaally bad images and I felt bad having them in my gallery

... images from those same batches are getting rejected randomly and approved randomly.. Randomly is good word here, if we talk about SS reviewers opinion I told my man about this stupid situation lately and all he said is: "don't they (SS) want earn money?? Why reject something what can bring money? It's like kill the hen giving golden eggs "

In my experience isolated studio shots were good years ago, now nature and real shots rule. Btw. shots or shoots? I never know which form is correct in English

They don't have to be exclusive but you must remeber that you'll have some extra work on double uploading. They don't watermark your images ans let it share as large files, so IF you don't accept it and want your work to be more safe (never in 100% of course) you have to: resize image, add watermark handly, upload once this small size, copy title, description and keywords beacouse it doesn't have IPTC data when saved for web, then upload another file as large to sell it in PRIME... 500px is the only one agency I know that does this practise. Everybody else, every other agency does resizing and add watermark (or let you choose if you want it) and you upload once. You save a lot of time! I'm sorry 500px doesn't listen to us...

Shelma, that's exactly why I'm so confused! It is the same, just the same with me. Rejection-email-mistake-resubmit-approve-sales (up to hits)... Some kind of stupid game here, really

There must be some butcher machine working, some random number generator and not human... Their rejections have no sense to me at all Looks like someone said: limits time, accept 50/50, no matter what but reject at least half... I have nothing agains normal and reasonable rejections (after 7 years I have some experience) but sometimes it's boiling my blood! They reject files that are best sellers after resubmition, and the same history is rolling over and over again.

Yes, I did all what friends here, on Sys forum and on FB offered. My files are yellow and green. Nothing works, nothing changes, nothing more I can do, even Leo couldn't help after login to my site.

I have been playing with symbiostock for a self hosted site but it looks like many of the forums associated with it are slow or dead. Are people still using this theme/script to sell images? I am also wondering if the "Pro" version or plugin is still available anywhere?
In my case: the site exists and... yes, it works as a tool helping me managing images, no it doesn't work at all if we talk about income. No sales and one big problem still - google sulks on my site. It doesn't index files so clients can't see my work. That means no sales. In short words, for me site didn't pay me back my time, effort and costs. Huge hopes, dubious sense.

Thanks for explanations. ... In the worst case: the smallest size costs about 1 USD, so earnings will be 0.5 * (1 USD - 0.5 USD) = 0.25 USD (25%) But in average: let's say image costs 6 USD, then earnings will be 0.5*(6 USD - 0.5 USD) = 2.75 USD (46%) ... We offer simple licenses (no limits in copies, no limits in electronic or print usage). That ($1=no limits) made my decision - no thanks! I just don't know how you want to encourage people to upload here In the fact photographers are rather leaving and do avoid places and offers like this one here... Fifty/fifty % is appreciated but still not good business in details. ________________________________ Follow better examples, not the worse...

Hi Pixabang, in short words I want to know what makes you different from bunch of other cheap agencies? How will you competite with them (except low pricing)? On your site I can see: "Get 25% - 50% from each sale." What it depends on? Why anyone would like to spend time on earning less than on other old and good prospering agencies? I don mean to outrage you, it is just simple business and honest talk. Seriously and with respect, please lure me more than with show link only

Their income (pricing) offer is really poor, I don't know why even bother with it? Another WOT agency.

I have focus on stock images market for 1 year. And I have upload my files to 26 agencies to sell. In those agencies, Superimagemarket.com gives the highest royalty---80%.
To day, I receive a Email from superimagemarket.com. The email says they start to recruit photographers to upload their photos. So I relied to them to ask them about why they give 80% royalty even 100% royalty for the first year. They told me they plan to offer a platform that provide artist to sell their works just like a Self-Hosted website. I have registered. It is my 27th agency. I hope they can sell images well. So I can get more money than anyother stock images agency.
So what do you find about it?
here is the picture post in the Email.
I thought you already registered there... i have registed. And upload 2 files there. It seems good to photographer.
So, is it good place for sales? Btw, how is it possible to sell images of cars and architecture as RF?

Last year (2014) my January sales were just fantastic. Much better than Nov., Dec., and Feb. around. In 2015 it's tragic.
