Did you check the download page (http://www.123rf.com/submit/downloaded_stats.php) for any refunded images?
As i said, on downloads page appears as "downloaded" and positive comission, never have a refunded image.. so how refunded images appear?

Only tried one or two shoots "isolated", but one was rejected and I get a warning on DT, about "too much white background" or something like that. And yes, was accepted by other agency's and already get some sales and no buyers complaints. But each agency with own rules, which i respect, but just in case of someone forget about subject on photo like me... ( too much "isolated" )

Program groups identical files uploaded on different sites together. 500 limit is set for such groups. So if you have 200-300 identical files on stocks it is still less then free version limit. But if files are different, then it can be over 500 already and it will display first 500 sorted by upload date.
Thanks for the reply. Will think about it. Dunno if it's better start with a 3 month sub and then decide which pro will do better.

123RF get to top tier mainly because upload ( 7.2 I think ), so my guess is that most users that are leaving others agency's are uploading huges batchs and that means more competition.
Anyway, I notice "less acceptance" since they reach 10 million images.
I can't complain about it, because is where i have better acceptance rate, and after 2 or 3 batchs refused, i adjust and choose images that I think deserve a second chance, and normaly they accept almost of it.

Just a "dumb" question : How number of files analyzed limit are calculated? In actual five agency's, only one are almost 300 files ( other around 200~250 ), but it's possible have more 500 different files over they, but surely have much files without any sale. Need to go "pro", but for now don't justify get an license thta overpass my needs.

Thank for the reply! Not as "first income source", but I'm in this for long term ( or be "fired" by agency's ) Keywording and upload workflow was something that I optimise on my first steps @stock, always foreseeing the possibility of increasing the number of photos uploaded and/or agencies. For this reason was "easily" put actual port on low earners, chosen for their potential. After a year, looking for current 12 agency's i'm working, almost of my "low earners list" give me a clue about to do in nearly future. DT is a good example: 29 donwloads only, but are always the same images i've been talking about on some topics likely "agency rejections": Images that only DT accept. So, in future, to get more results on DT I need to think about "special batchs" for them. Ok, i could give many examples how each agency give me a clue about future, exception made to YayMicro ( and other ) . 356 Images, 7% Editorial, and looking to "views" I don't understand what content could work best for Yaymicro. I've read somewhere that be on 3rd party sales could improve sales, thought that 500 images ( ok 100 of the best.. that could means more than 500 ) but if PP don't produce any sale ( talking about PP "someone" put my worst images on one partner... but that is another discussion ). Maybe is better include it on next year "work line" ( boost number of images online too 4x or more, over best rpd images ).

Only today I see my post above without any text Ok, not the most important by now. Having a big 0 so far, and with last changes on CC, would help have views statistics or something, to see if any good happen with changes. Unlikey other agency with a big 0 , dunno why still put some faith on CC. But actually is a lack of information to analyze next step. I even tried search engine with "value keywords" ( at least for me ) and my images on first page...

Almost a year after, with more portfolio at YAY than other agency's, including same editorial content, top sellers and who knows what... 0 is the number.
Now, soon i will analyze what types of photos I will work in bigger scale. This means that small portfolio could grow faster than 1st year.
Should I keep YAY until reach more 500 files and see results if accepted on 3th party program?
I know almost of people will say : "Is a small portfolio..." But, even PM, that is a german agency , that I start months after YAY, with less 100 images.. have some sales!

This month was cleary low ( 0,35 ), but nothing compared with FT...
By other side, if i look back ( 1 Year ), DT showing some progress, and i'm puting some faith on them.

Thought that's to earlier to analyze my results ( will do 1st year analyzing on end of Oct. ) , yesterday, looking for actual statistics i got suprised with RPI of 123RF ( growing up since start ). Even knowing the Pool "real facts" its much real the difference between 123RF and FT.

C'mon! a lot of you have been complaining about recent inconsistent SS reviews, weird and nosense rejections... and now you claim that "resubmitting is bad" and that the OP deserved to be kicked off??? so, what do you do when you get that inconsistent reviews? just resign??
OP could specificy "numbers" and "reasons"... I think 99% of contributors with "mass rejections" do a "selective re-submision batch" with reasons given ( and some changes done ). Same 99% would stop re-submiting after first warning... something that OP haven't done. I'm against some mass rejections, I re-submit... but most important: I don't flood submission cue

Who bother doing it at all, when it is against the rules? And keeping on after getting two warnings is really a bit dumb in my view.
x2 That rule was my first item on "Never Forget List of MicroStock".. moreover when SS is "trully" cleared about "re-submision rules".

As "beginner" i've been aware of search changes, and with so "few work" to worry about, its easier to see if changes are better or not:
My "beloved" f16 ( btw is marked as photo+ ) and keywords "army plane" ( same keywords put it on first page on SS and FT by relevance )
- Before Best Match Update: Almost like "Oceanic Flight 815"... - Some days gone to 1st page, but behind another f-16 that i've there, with 0 downloads, no photo+ <-- And here I agree that isn't fair for nobody... - Today stills on first page, on the top, and other image "flight over".
So the search itself, "personally", are better. For sales itself: still not working so good as SS or FT.

My Experience: SS: Yes, and batch it separately with message "re-submission" "Love You" Etc.. Istock: Only images refused because keywords issues or Logos/trademark that are only seen by them ( except train lines ). 123RF: When they start with mass rejections, I pile up a serie of batch and send all again. Other: Don't resubmit at all Notice: Only try a second time. When see that some image refused by second time and it sells on other agency i try one last time claiming that fact. No warning so far, except first editorial photos for SS, that probally I re-submit them 5 or 6 times until show that my caption was as many other images online... Was a hard night

I always liked
an amatuer worries about gear a professional worries about composition a master worries about light
"We need" adjust it for Micro Stock: an amatuer worries about views a professional worries about downloads a master worries about comission rate

I would like to know why too.. or even beeter: Why I need BS if i'm on SS?
I start first on BS and only one month after in SS ( the reason is obvious, only enter SS after second batch of ten..bla bla ).
Not much time ago, I send an emai to SS asking if, for the people like me ( different portfolio, but still having some common images ), worth keep images on BS, or leave only different ones, etc, and they said something like: SS in one company and BS is other totally independent. Based on that I should kkeep it as is.
Now the true is: I start Oct/Nov.2010 and finally start to have "regular income" from SS and only had 2 sales at BS on same period, the fantastic value of $5.70.
Personally, since begin, I decide to analyse only after 2 years of work and/or +500files portfolio before start excluding some agency's, but BS is almost on exception list.

6 I'm not a fanboy. Only will be one, when Nikon, Canon, Sony and even Olympus support ($$) my equipment LOL Use Canon because "used market", friends group and some specif lens that I pretend to have in future. BTW, I use glasses.. ( dam computers ) and are Nikon lenses /IRONIC MODE ON Maybe if i go Nikon, will have more result on sales? The bad is that some well know agency will drop comission for Canon users. /IRONIC MODE OFF

interesting at Istock. I opened a thread to let people know and it was deleted. Guess they do not want people to know their security is slack. They said to email the compliance section but I think they would do it only file prer file if at all.
My believe ( Ok, I only check a small number of files.. but ) is that files were taken from "free files section"... or even ripped from web with an webspider program. Don't think that someone enter agency's datacenter/server and get it On compliance page will only worth if You find Your images and prove that he are violating agreement.... Huh, wait, it's better do the dcma directly to site owners/hosting services ( learn that this week LOL ).

After a tiny search over "istock file", I could say that 90% files aren't currently on agency. Only one hit : http://www.istockphoto.com//stock-photo-2567828-bowling-balls-and-pins.php?refnum=Adivin2 others points to Fotolia or dreamstime. All of them have thousands of copys over web... so analysing 60gb would take 10 yeras or so... Now, "scary or not" , almost can be found here: http://defaultself.com/IMAGES/Check the folders names... Theory n5: Agency Free files that someone "rip"? Dunno, but would be nice know if only authors can do DMCA to the site.. or even if worth report to agency's?
