I'm having a problem and I can't find or I simply don't know how to locate my images in the marketplace.. I can see their sku numbers in my dashboard, but nothing comes up if I use the number.
It has been a while since I noticed that. My illustrations used to be JPG, as at the time I think they were not accepting EPS. I also noticed that all contributors member pages have a link to their roaylty free illustrations, but my page doesn't have that.
I don't know ...already contacted support two days ago, but no answer.

Question... where did they say it will be more expensive?

JSnover I agree. There are a lot of small advantages of a PNG over a lossless JPG, but maybe that's not the primary reason...gotta think like marketing folks do, not like a graphic designer. It could be part of a marketing strategy. Maybe they are going to market this format, try to set a new trend..who knows maybe PNG is going to be the new thing at least in the buyer's mind. I'd love to get more sales anything helps.

When I first got into veer, I could only upload Images, therefore my illustrations were all JPG's. I got tiny sales because of that... People would get my images just for blog use....I decided it was going to be too much trouble to upload EPS to compete with the JPG prices.

That photo+ shows only for images, and does not show for vectors...So i guess vectors are not included ....

Freelancing for me is good when I get contacted by a big comapany for any larger project, with a fair budget. Otherwise when is those one time small one illustration is a hit or a miss...and the thing is most of the time is a pain. If you became a diamond would you stop freelancing?
I got thinking...maybe it gets to a point where is worth more to work to feed the sites..I don't know...but it sure would be nice, not having to deal with freelancing.

Hi, does anyone get requests for custom illustrations or to freelance? What has your experience been? I noticed that in the past some microstock artists would put in their profile that they accept custom work...But as time went by I noticed most of them took that out as their portfolios grew larger. Maybe there is that point where you'd need to dedicate to one or another..
so where are you? Growing your porftolio v. freelancing work?

I don't count, because I'm a silver...I have a tiny portfolio, close to 300 images but I haven't uploaded for years, so if I don't upload I take it will decline anyway, but nothing like this year. This month of april I made exactly 2.5 times less than what I made in january. In january my return per vector was around 0.9

Do you have a Payoneer card in the US? Have you had any problems with it? I know they charge monthly mantenance fee, ATM fee, but besides theses fees, is it an Okay card? And...can you cancel the card in the future if you decide you don't want to go this route?

Is usually done in a 3D software with post work on photoshop or corel painter. You can visit the cgsociety.org you'll see amazing stuff. Is more for movies and fantasy illustration but you see some realistic backgrounds, matte paintings etc. ...they have some online workshops courses with industry experts...I'd love to sign up for one..but $600 is quite expensive for me when I still have to finish paying my credit card debts. When I'm out of the woods, in the future I'd love to sign up for matte painting and digital painting. However I don't know if that type of painting would be the type of "money shot". For now, I only do vectors for microstock and my digital paintings are geared more to children's books and games.

How interesting...I never thought that the USPS would use stock photography...I was thinking before this, that they hired photographers for custom work.

I was wondering if Russel illustrations are still available for licensing? But without the profile I don't know how to find it.

Hi, If you are going to license images directly to a client, under a royalty free license, how simple or complex of an agreement should be? Is there any good template out there?

i'm looking at his illustrations and I find them pretty good... So, I'm wondering if they are not accepting "certain themes" anymore.... I just don't get it, because if you look at some new files being accepted, some are simpler than that.

I just have a request...
The images in that portal appeared with the copyright next to my real name.
However at Veer and other microstock sites I use a pseudonym / alias....so I'd like the copyright to my "alias'.

Hi Thanks for replying. These days is hard to know which site is partner or not. Monica Hi all,
Not to worry--the site Monica referenced is a legit Veer partner. We'll have some more details for you next week, but in a nutshell, we've been working on some ways to create exposure for your images in territories Veer doesn't access. Next week's communication should answer any further questions you have. We appreciate your patience!
Cheers,
Chelsey

Hi I found my entire portfolio from Veer Marketplace, with the Veer watermarks at photogenica.pl it seems to be a polish site, and the only word I recognize is "Royalty Free". Oh by the way they are even on facebook???
To check if your images are there you have to put your pseudonym or name followed by a ## example: ##yourname
How do I contact Veer to ask about this? Monica'
