What I really don't understand is why so many of you appear to think any company or corporate entity is your friend.
Adobe is a publicly traded company and shareholders are their priority, not you the contributor.
Adobe like any other agency is completely self serving. Adobe is not doing this for your benefit they are doing it for "corporate profit" and only "corporate profit".
Of course no agency is our friend, and I have no illusion we contributors are respected in any way. But I always thought Adobe's main revenue comes from their apps, not their stock, so I hoped they wouldn't yet walk over to the dark side of "unlimited downloads"...They are (were) one of the few agencies who offered decent RPD. Well, not anymore they ain't. The world of microstock is completely effed up and already becoming unsustainable. I've already moved on to greener pastures and stopped producing microstock content (instead doing commissioned work). @ Mat: "No minimum guarantee applies." So we can expect 0.02 royalties then? We probably don't ever get to see how many items were downloaded for the lump sum we'll receive, right?

Allow me to translate: It also became clear we shared a similar view of the world. The impact of imagery has never been greater and will only become greater in the future. And we both aim to push that impact further than anyone has ever done before. Transl.: "It also became clear we both love money. And we both aim to make even more money than anyone has ever done before."

What the heck, did they change the minimum payout to $60? I'd swear it was $30 earlier?

They have a 1000 Skies Bundle from Shutterstock and Adobe Stock at 49$.
https://creativemarket.com/MixPixBox/4182585-1000-Sky-Overlays-Pack
In Europe pack of 25 extended licenses is 1699 ... therefore the cost of 1000 extended license is 68.000 ...
Do you think they paid 68.000 for 1000 extended licenses ?
Highly unlikely unless they have a special deal with SS. But still, why not ask them? Then you can use that opportunity to educate them or DMCA them (if it's your photos they're selling.)

Only if they have an Enhanced License, then someone can incorporate photos in a template for sale or distribution.
In most cases the Etsy seller doesn't have the correct license (Standard licenses don't allow this use) so you might ask the seller if they have paid for the correct license for each photo in their templates.

Made the payout treshold, now busy processing ID verification. Then I'll delete my videos and turn my back on these liars forever.

Why did that reviewer reject $$$? If they don't want their cut, I am happy to take it!
Reasons for rejection: storage space, upholding the overall quality standard of their collection, preventing oversupply. And if you're so happy to keep their cut to yourself, all you need to do it sell it on your own website. Good luck getting traffic and paying customers, though.

I don't know. What I do know for sure is that you're way overthinking this.

I can't make sense of anything you say Tenebroso. Those lengthy pseudo-poetic posts full of meandering nonsense. No offense, you remind me of a stereotypical rambling vodka drinking village loony.

Although I appreciate Adobes generosity, and we're in no position to complain, I must say the requirement for the All Apps plan was a lot steeper than last two years. Combine that with the COVID pandemic, which led to a reduction in sales, I was unable to get the All Apps plan this year. The Photography plan is nice for some, but useless for me.
I would have preferred a requirement that's more within our control (after all, we can control how much we submit, but not how much we sell). Oh well.

It appears to be a bug, don't expect any goodwill or motivational suprises from SS.

The weird thing is that SS has never once in my entire SS career failed to pay, in fact they were always right on time (around the 7th of each month).

It could also be a correction.

I was banned from their forums. No idea why, but I can't log in anymore. My contributor account is still active though.

Same here, I received no money this month.
What a joke, not even a heads-up, no email, nothing.

I did not get payment either, I contacted them and and they have respond this:
"It appears that there has been a delay with some payments this month, and a lot of contributors still haven't been paid yet. Provided your payment account settings are correct, funds should be forthcoming by the 15th." Let's hope that will get our money till monday.
I received the same response from online support. But these are from fellow contributors and they don't work for SS, so I guess we'll have to wait until Monday to find out.

It's absurd... I got the below reply from them after I contacted them: ==================================== "I understand your concern regarding your payment and I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
Please be informed that there was an issue with the Jan 2020 payment ($$$). The payment will automatically be reissued in the next cycle (March 2021).
If you have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. ============================================
Now what we do?
What the...? Can they just do that? Why aren't contributors being informed about this?

I have a little bug of sorts: Adobe Stock revenue seems to be stuck on last month's amount. No more sales updates (popups) either
Please run an empty submission - probably it needs you to pass a captcha but doesn't want to bother you just to update the balance.
That did the trick, thanks!

"which show that the uploaded material is not very demanded by our customers"
Or that your site is incapable of attracting the right customers.

Haven't been paid yet either. They should pay before the 15th so they're not overdue, but usually it appears in my Paypal no later than the 7th of the month.

Do they pay out even below the treshold if I close my account now?
Good question, I would like to know that too.
Do they pay out even below the treshold if I close my account now?
Good question, I would like to know that too.
I asked this question on numerous occasions to different emails of theirs and never received a reply.
So I wrote about the experience.
Received a reply this weekend, not surprisingly it's exactly the answer I didn't want to hear: "Hi You would forfeit any earnings accumulated, by closing your account. Additionally the files are permanently deleted and you could not reopen the account at a later time. Kind regards"

Got my first couple of sales.
A pitiful $4 per video download, apparently some cheap ass subscription sale. I put up my videos in the Premium tier at $59 per video, 50% commission, but they sell for this cheap? What a joke of a site. I'm going to delete my entire portfolio, can't believe I fell for this crap.
