I have stopped uploading at FP a while now.
I mean no sales in 5 months says it all!

Funny that you should mention this Nativelight.

As I said previously, it's been quiet lately and now I just got 3 on same day.
Like you, I have noticed something like this before.

I don't know why, but when I started I used different names for different sites. If I was to start all over again think I'd use the same one now.

I don't believe that buyers 'follow' a particular photographer. They're usually looking for a specific image, and they don't give a tinker's cuss who took it. So long as it fits the bill they'll buy.

However, if they have the choice of 2 or more images they may go for the one by the photographer they know. And making a 'name' for yourself does help in other ways.

Why?  Because it sends a clear message that we are in this as business partners, and that if the agency does not advertise on our behalf we will take our work elsewhere.  Don't you think it is important that agencies realize they cannot keep our images and do nothing but pay for its server?

You know when you think about it, the "Search" on all sites obviously plays a very vital role on how many sales we get.
Images sinking to the bottom/rising to the top.

It would be nice to know the exact criteria for each site but I suppose we never will.
Also, I'm led to believe that they are seemingly changed around every so often.

Anyone with any insight or views on this?

For me your site is still on the slow side - but as you say, hopefully this will improve over time.

While you are there -  just would like to know how long does it usually take CC to review submitted work? Also, do you get email notification of acceptance/rejection.

I don't have too much problem with the new logo, but I feel the (clip art) guy) with the camera really conflicts with it.

I really think he should be replaced by something modern.
