sometimes a simple google search (e.g. google for: "yourUserName" shutterstock -site:shutterstock.com) will give you some hits. Obviously that only shows those hits where somebody correctly attributes the images on their webpage, but surprisingly you can find quite a lot that way.

dirkr -
I am going to need more info from you regarding this IPTC issue. I just uploaded a bunch of images via FTP with embedded metadata and everything went through just fine.
Feel free to email me directly at [email protected]
Thanks, I'll send you an e-mail...

Thanks for the quick response. It's certainly no general problem with Metadata import, I just see some changed titles / descriptions (slight changes, I'm absolutely fine with that) and had the feeling that single keywords are missing (things like specific location information on wildlife shots, which I think are useful), but I'll check the keywords later today and see how much that really is (need to do some comparisons with my saved IPTC data at home).
Anyway, it was mainly curiosity on my part.
Ok, cool. The keywords we're removing now aren't anything that specific. They're mainly commonly-searched single keywords. This time of year everyone puts "snowflake" on every image. Title: Team of Business People Meeting in a Boardroom. Keywords: business, snowflake. It's highly unlikely specific place names have been removed intentionally by us.
I'll check that in detail. Not unlikely that I forgot to insert some keywords in the first place and now miss them appearing on your site You'll always have to accept the possibility that the bug is sitting behind the keyboard...

Now that some of my newer uploads have been approved, it looks like you are changing the metadata (title, description, keywords). Is this true? I have seen a few files where keywords seem to have disappeared... @Lee: can you confirm? And if so, why do you delete keywords?

What is going on there?
Volume rebates on steroids.
That's what subscriptions are.
Thanks, does that mean they have the same 'rights' as people without subscription?
Yes, the license terms are the same.

Does 'disuptive' Oleg leave Fotolia with all this money or will he still manage the place? Does anyone know?
The press release says he "will continue to lead the Fotolia team as part of Adobe's Digital Media business".

It will be interesting to see at what terms they will "offer its services to the Creative Cloud base". And what that will mean for contributors.
One heads up to Adobe: if you mess with contributors, your 800 million investment is at risk. Without content there's nothing you can "integrate with Creative Cloud".
The real way to go would be to admit that the previous owners have neglected contributors for too long and that Adobe (as being an integrall part of that creative community - you want those contributors to use your products, right?) will change that by improving conditions. E.g. raise commissions, remove crappy re-seller deals etc.

I re-tried today and it worked. But another bug: Veer doesn't seem to read descriptions from IPTC any more, they are left empty. Maybe you should check that and re-process affected files to add the descriptions...

yup, same for me (photos, not vectors). Uploaded via FTP, but then the site showed a "unknown error" for each uploaded file..

That has happened many times before and the only explanation I ever heard (I guess it was on the German FT forum) was that it is for multiple users within a bigger company. Don't know if that's true or not.

FTP worked without problems for me right now. Only photos, no videos.

Cigarettes are a stupidity tax. You have to pay it only if you are stupid. Smart people don't pay this tax.
smart people don't pay taxes at all.
yeah... and those smart people move to where taxes and cost of living are low... and then start to complain and whine about "the widespread corruption, racism, double standards, scams, and ripoff, and what about even basic things like broken roads, rubbish bags everywhere, bad smells, drunks, police asking bribes ..." On the contrary, really intelligent people accept taxes as a neccessity to run a civilized society and are thankful that they can pay their taxes - and get working infrastructure, solid healthcare, a reliable legal system as return.

After Dirkr pointed out the portable DixiLoo there's no way we can change our name .. it's just too funny.
The funny thing is: These "Dixi"-Loos are very well-known here in Germany. It's one of those cases where a brand name becomes a synonym for the product. If anybody in Germany refers to a portable toilette (the kind that is used at construction sites or any bigger events like concerts or festivals) they will always talk about a "Dixi-Klo" (where Klo is the colloquial expression for toilette). Until this thread I hadn't realised that this is obviously not an international recognized brand name

Thanks. If you accept upsized images (as long as the result is sharp enough) I might do that for those that are good enough to start with. All newer images are big enough anyway. And your name: you're just one letter off to make it sound like that: http://www.toitoidixi.de/en/produkte/toilettenkabinen/DIXI-B.php

Overall that sounds pretty good. One remark though: Minimum resolution of 8.6 MP excludes a lot of very usable content. I have been shooting several years with a (8.2 MP) Canon 30d, so all that content would not be usable at your site. Other than that: Are you looking for any special content or special look? Or will you be accepting a broad spectrum of content?

Some of mine uploaded on Nov 06 are still pending, while others uploaded later have already been accepted (and now are in "processing" state...). I'll just wait until something happens, Canstock is not important enough to make a fuss about it...

I'll wait to see some reports on image quality first. If it's an improvement over the current version, I may be tempted to replace my old one. The reduction in minimum focusing distance plus an improved IS sound very nice.

...simply for the extra 3-5 cents, ...
Without disagreeing with everything else you said, if a company can reduce the cost of sales for one item from 38 cents to 25 cents, that is about 30%. Go to any big company and ask them what they would pay you if you had an idea how they could reduce their cost of sales by 30%. That is not insignificant. That being said, although I can see the motivation, that alone is no proof that they actually did/do punish specific portfolios.

Sub royalties can very. I sometimes get them for $0.626.
Thanks, I didn't know that, until now I only had the regular rate...

This might have already been answered, but is there a way to view your portfolio that is actually approved and online? I know there is a Portfolio link in the menu, but it doesn't seem to be able to display simply which files are online/approved?
Here's how I do it: Select Your Portfolio from the pulldown. Click on any of the pictures in your portfolio, whether or not they're approved. Then click on your username on the right side of the page. That will bring up a display of your approved images. Or it would, if the site wasn't giving errors at the moment.
Or simply: https://www.canva.com/YourUserNamewhere (obviously) you have to replace YourUserName by your user name

If clients use a coupon, promotion, or get another type of discount, and thus purchase a subscription package for less than it usually is, we also receive less, I believe.
But it's not less, it's more than I usually receive...
