Got my 3rd "Lens" up and running. I am helping out other Zazzlers by Pimping out their stuff too http://www.squidoo.com/Awesome_Mouse_PadsI have Google Analytics on my Zazzle Store and it shows where people are coming from to look. I am going to track and see if Squidoo actually helps drive Traffic there. If it does...I will be Pimping out my Deviant Art Account too. Another thing is.. I guess through Affiliate Links .. you can make money from your "Lens" too.

Looks good. The only thing I would change for this one is in your Zazzle mod...show 9 Products if you have them instead of the 3.
If you want possible affiliate income... add a section from Amazon somewhere and Ebay also. If you dont care about that..then dont worry about figuring it out yet.
My 3rd Lens is up but I am going to Pimp other sellers in there too. Got a Message up for Mouse pads in their forums "Time for me to Pay it Back". SO..if you got mousepad...find the forum and add your pads in that thread. Edit...its in the Zazzle Forums.
Get the other MSG'ers makeing Lenses for their Zazzle stuff and we can start Pimping each other too.

No Problem. I have not even looked at the tut yet. Since you can make micro money with this and it supposedly can help our POD Accounts... maybe if enough of us do them...we can add a section here sometime in the future.
Just google "Money from Squidoo". I am still not sure how it works but somehow you can make money off just the "Lenses". Maybe like affiliate type stuff. That might be why Zazzlers are eager to help promote others items on Squidoo.

When building the lens...there are modules you can add. Thats one of them. I just specified the subject like a search...then let Amazon pick the books or I could have picked. It's easy once you get a couple of these things built. Even better is when you get the hang of it...go back to your first ones and bring them up to speed.
Let me add...if you want to make a little bit from your squidoo... you need to add in the modules. When you publish it might prompt you to add more. Split your text into a few different text modules and in between them add the ads.

I still don't have that Merch thing going right... but I did make a Squidoo Lens thingie to see if it makes any impact on traffic to the store. Got Google Analitics going so I can watch for it. I am not a blogger type but here is my attempt at the "Lens if you want to check it out. http://www.squidoo.com/My_Nature_Photography

I just had BS reject some Photos that SS accepted. Should I just reupload with the note that Shutterstock accepted these. Kinda like saying..."your Boss liked them so why dont you?" type thing.

Just email them and ask if you can yank your current Port off of their site and get your Status when you re-apply...lmao. Imagine the review times if that happened.

I have signed up on Squidoo. Dont know when I will have time to write though. Does Squidoo really help pull in sales? If it works then I guess I can also promote the stuff I have on Deviant Art.

Bringing this thread back to life.... Just got my store up ..with a few products for now. Think I will take One day off and devote to Zazzle for making Products and figure out Marketing it. Might add a crapload of people to Myspace and Facebook then pop in the link on them. My Little Store: http://www.zazzle.com/LongShot1972

For Shutterstock: What do they see as their ultimate goal for BigStock?
For Istock: Why do they hate Raster Illustrations?

Tom..it's not Tennesse in general... I am only speaking of this corner I am in. Headshots would probably rule in Nashville area and probably around Knoxville... Mephis... and possibly Chattanooga. Tourist stuf... deff. around Pigeon Forge. Weddings might be killer in those same areas 'cause thats where the money is at.
My area..2 times a Year... NASCAR (Bristol) and thats about it for anything Major. Every once in a while there are some good Drag Races at Thunder Valley.
There is a website.. I think it's city-data.com or something where you can find out info from real people who live or have lived in where ever your looking at.

Thanks for the Ideas. This area I am in has the heartbeat of a 92 Year Old Man on their Deathbed. Kingsport, Tennessee. I have not worked since Nov. last year. Every week it seems some company is going out of Business .. laying off about 100 people each loss at a minimum. If Eastman closes here....this town is a gonner for sure. Thats a part of the reason I jumped at the MS game. What ever I need to do... I got to do here and sell elsewhere. The guy with the Rel. Store I mentioned...he does not know how much longer he can keep his doors open.
I know 2 'Togs. 1 (I know as a personal friend) wants to break into weddings but he says that market is sewn up by the ones who do it right now. He has been trying for about 2 years to even get his foot into that circle of 'Togs. The Other one does the Headshots for like Linkedin...he is hurting for work. They both do Commercial Shots which pays very well...but not so often. I offered to assist for free when they get anything.... still waiting over a year later.
Got a Deviant Art account now and put some stuff up there. Guess I need to order a Photographers Market. Is the 2010 one out yet...I will check. Not too far from the Blue Ridge Parkway... and the leaves will be turning soon. Landscape would be my best bet I am thinking.
My goal..make enough money to move to a better area (Rent an Apartment at least) with my Wife, little girl and a Miniature Pinscher...and sustain money until I am set in a area (a few weeks or so). Thinking of somewhere in Texas maybe. Not set on it yet.

Sept. was a BME for me but Oct. is just dragging. In all fairness though... beginning of Sept. did the exact same thing. Mid Sept. kinda opened wide up for me for about 7 days in a row. I am pulling for Oct. to beat Sept.

I don't know if they will come up that much...but at least I did see an ad (or was is a Group?) for BigStock on Facebook. SS already has a presence on there so I guess they are bringing them up too. One step is better than no steps.

I am not sure about doing Zazzle. Might try to get stuff up there sometime.
The Head shots thing...I already know one person in my area doing that and even he is suffering for work. I wish it was sustainable though...I would like doing that. Maybe Senior Pics Outdoors or something. Cheerleading or Sports for those Families who like to spend on their kids. Could possibly network that through Myspace or Facebook....find the kids to add me first without being a Internet Predator...lol.
Might try going artistic and put things on deviantart. I do know the owner of a Alternate Religions Store...wonder if he is going to do a website again. If so...maybe Product Photos? Might have to go talk to him.
I think I really need to move back to a larger city.
